Gujarat’s Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani and deputy chief minister Mr. Nitinbhai Patel today expressed heartily thanks to the Prime Minister Mr. Narendrabhai Modi for allocation of Rs. 25,060-crore for the modernization of the police force between years 2017-2020.
The duo said that it is welcomed step that a special fund has been allocated for strengthening the law and order situation in the country; as well as internal security, women safety, latest weapons for police force and mobility and logistic support of the police force, up-gradation of wireless sets and social safety and security.
They also welcomed the special allocation of fund for developing state of art facilities at the Forensic Science University, Gandhinagar.
They said that the allocation of fund for the modernization of the police force will expedite the up-gradation of police stations, modernization of police niwas, vast use of information technology and forensic science laboratory.
Gujarat being the bordering state, modernization of the police force would help in strengthening the law and order situation in the state, they said and added that the modernization umbrella would increase the efficiency of the police force against the anti-national elements.
The modernization of the police force is expressing the Prime Minister’s determination to increase the national security against the internal as well as external threats, in particularly in the states which are affected by the terrorists and naxalite forces, they added.
