    Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel encouraged the 4,159 newly appointed youths, who received their appointment letters, to be the driving force in integrating the most marginalized individuals into the mainstream of development.

    During the event, the Chief Minister emphasized that the newly appointed youth workers have a crucial service duty, which is to achieve the target of the saturation point set by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This target aims to ensure that 100 percent of marginalized and underprivileged individuals benefit from various social welfare schemes, including those related to health and education.

    Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar, the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) and Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB) collectively appointed a total of 4,159 youths in government service. This appointment included 3,014 Talati-cum-Mantri, 998 Junior Clerks, 72 Deputy Section Officers, 58 English Stenographers, and 17 Hawaldars, with appointment letters being handed over during a ceremony.

    The Chief Minister extended his congratulations to the newly appointed youth, highlighting that these new appointments would serve as a foundation for economic prosperity during the Diwali festival. Furthermore, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of viewing a government job, position, or post not merely as an economic benefit, but as an opportunity for public service. He encouraged individuals to consider these roles as a means to contribute positively to society and make a difference in the lives of others.

    Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has exemplified a model of good governance through the establishment of a transparent and efficient system. The responsibilities of the newly appointed Karmayogis lie at the very foundation of Panchayat Seva, and they will play a pivotal role in advancing Gujarat’s leadership in terms of good governance, as highlighted by the Chief Minister.

    Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel offered guidance to the recently appointed Karma Yogis, encouraging them to maintain unwavering commitment, set lofty goals, and fulfill their duties diligently as a means to advance in life. He also emphasized that one’s work should be a defining legacy.

    Furthermore, the Chief Minister inspired the newly appointed youth workers to come together and contribute to the nation-building journey, striving for “Viksit Bharat@2047” through the development of Gujarat, particularly during this significant Amrit Kaal period.

    About the greeting letter from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to the Karma yogis who have received their appointment letters, CM expressed that the enthusiasm, agility, and fresh, innovative ideas of this youthful workforce will play a valuable role in consistently elevating the honor and reputation of both the nation and the state. This progress will be achieved through a harmonious blend of development, good governance, and excellence.

    Minister of State for Panchayats, Shri Bachu Khabad, congratulated the newly appointed candidates and emphasized that, during this auspicious Amrit Kaal period, significant efforts have been made to strengthen, streamline, and enhance the transparency of Gujarat’s panchayat service under the leadership of CM Shri Bhupendra Patel. The entire recruitment process has been completed swiftly, and appointment letters have been handed over today. The selected candidates now have a promising opportunity to work with the state government and serve its citizens. He urged the newly appointed youth workers to approach their roles with unwavering dedication and transparency, contributing their support to the state’s development.

    Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has ensured the provision of essential facilities for the modernization of Gram Panchayats in every village of Gujarat. As a result, today, Gram Panchayats are equipped with the same amenities as Secretariats and are commonly referred to as Village Secretariats. The crucial role of dedicated Karmayogis like all of you is pivotal in the functioning of these Village Secretariats. The Minister also encouraged them to consistently go the extra mile when required and to always give their utmost effort.

    Minister Shri Khabad added that under the steadfast leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, a remarkable achievement has been reached in the last year in the state. A total of 13,000 Karmayogis have been appointed through direct recruitment across 17 different Cadres of the state government. This marks a historic milestone in Gujarat, being the first time such an extensive recruitment has occurred within a single year. He further urged the newly appointed candidates to work with wholehearted dedication, ensuring that government services reach every citizen. He also extended his warm greetings for the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

    The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Smt. Rita Patel, MLA from Gandhinagar (North), Shri Hitesh Makwana, the Mayor of Gandhinagar, Smt. Shilpa Patel, President of the Gandhinagar District Panchayat, Shri Raj Kumar, the Chief Secretary, Shri Kamal Dayani, Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department, Shri Sandeep Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Panchayat Department, Dr. Gaurav Dahiya, Additional Development Commissioner, Shri Hasmukh Patel, Chairman of the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board, and members Smt. Rajika Kacheria and Smt. Nita Sevak. The selected candidates and their family members were also present for the occasion.
