CM visits banana crop farm to get the details of damage due to heavy rain
CM indulges in direct dialogue with the displaced people and assures them of the necessary help and assistance

Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel visited Rajpipla to get an idea of the situation created due to very heavy rains in Narmada district and held a meeting with senior office bearers and officials of the district – district administration on Tuesday afternoon.
He gathered detailed information about the work done by the district administration and various urgent steps taken for rescue relief. Apart from Minister for Roads and Housing and Minister in charge of the district Shri Purnesh Modi, Chief Secretary Shri Pankaj Kumar was also present in the meeting with the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister expressed his commitment to provide all the assistance as per the state government norms to the affected people on immediate basis and he also directed the district administration to take necessary action in this direction expeditiously.
With regard to the situation created due to heavy rains, District Collector Shri DA Shah presented district related information including rainfall information of previous years, water level in dams, comparative details and outline of geographical situation of the district, the rescue operation carried out by the district administration, successful rescue operation of 25 people with the help of NDRF and SDRF team, he also apprised the Chief Minister about the details of safe evacuation of about 8975 people in the district.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that the state government is committed to help the people of Rajpipla city and district in every possible way to restore normalcy. After arriving in Rajpipla today, the Chief Minister went to the Karjan Owara area situated near the helipad to check the condition of banana crop affected due to heavy rains and gathered its information from the administration.
He then visited the flood-affected people at Limdachok and interacted with them. Besides, the Chief Minister visited the families of the deceased Mr. Sanjaybhai Rameshbhai Machhi and Ms. Dikshita Jayantibhai Machhi who were stranded in the water yesterday and expressed his condolences.
The Chief Minister visited the Rajpipla Collectorate and interacted with the rescue team from the Karjan Owara Cemetery area and the helipad area. The affected people presented the details of the daring rescue operation to the Chief Minister and thanked the system.
The Chief Minister interacted with the NDRF and SDRF personnel who assisted in the rescue operation and congratulated them on the successful operation.

Paryusha Vasava, District Leader Shri Ghanshyam Patel, Shri Nil Rao, Former Minister Shri Shabdasharan Tadvi, Vadodara Range IG District SM Bharada, District Development Officer Shri Ankit Pannu, District Superintendent of Police Shri Prashant Sumbe and District Divisional Implementation Officers were present.
