Guj CM holds meeting, reviews current situation related to Covid-19 in the State

    CM holds review meeting with 5 Municipal Commissioners and 6 District Collectors of the state via video conferencing  

    A total of 2000 kg of immunity-boosting powder (Ukala) to be delivered daily across the state by AYUSH from next Monday 10th January

    Gandhinagar, Friday:  Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel holds a review meeting with 5 Municipal Commissioners and 6 District Collectors of the state via video conferencing to view the readiness of the districts and municipal corporations to overcome the transition of Corona in the state.

    Municipal Commissioners of Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Gandhinagar while District Collectors of Kheda, Anand, Bharuch, Navsari, Valsad and Kutch, District Development Officers and District Health Officers briefed Chief Minister about the availability of oxygen beds, vaccination drive, tracing-tracking and isolation in needy cases and hospitalization.

    Reviewing the readiness CM said that, the secretaries in charge of the districts have been instructed to reach out to the districts so that the district administrations can get the necessary guidance. The government has intensively planned to deliver all the necessary assistance to the districts.

    AYUSH is planning to deliver a total of 2000 kg of immunity-boosting powder (ukala) daily in metros as well districts across the state from next Monday, January 10 to boost immunity against corona. CM also instructed to make arrangements so that its benefits reach more and more people.

    CM requested continuous monitoring of home isolated as well those admitted in the hospital.

    Chief Secretary Mr. Pankaj Kumar instructed the District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners to further mobilize Dhanvantari Rath and Sanjeev’s Rath as per requirement and to make contact tracing more comprehensive and also to increase the number of daily testing.

    Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. K. Kailashnathan, Acting Principal Secretary of Health Department Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Senior Secretaries participated in this video conference from Gandhinagar.
