With an investment of Rs. 600 crore this ultra-modern plant will fulfill Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s aim of “Make in India-Make for the World”: CM

Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel virtually through video conference kick started Navin Fluorine International Plant setup at an investment of Rs. 600 crore at Dahej PCPIR (Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region) in Bharuch.
On this occasion Chief Minister stated that chemicals including HFO chemical produced in this plant which will boost export worldwide thereby accomplishing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s aim of “Make in India- Make for the World”.
In this regard Shri Bhupendra Patel said that with the launch of this plant, which exports all over the world, will be a new milestone in the industrial development sector of Gujarat.
In particular, the HFO chemical produced at this plant is a carbon emission reduction chemical and the state government is also committed to reduce carbon emissions. Chief Minister added.
The Chief Minister said that with more than 11,000 chemical manufacturing units, Gujarat is the one third producer of chemical products in the country.
Not only that chemical sector contributes 24% to the state’s gross state value addition as well as 41% inorganic in country’s chemical export and 38% of organic chemical exports for which Gujarat alone accounts for.
Chief Minister further said that Gujarat today is the most preferred investment destination in the country because in its roots lies the strong foundation of good governance and policy laid by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
He also expressed confidence that a self-reliant Gujarat would emerge from a self-reliant India by providing incentives and strength to Gujarat industries to achieve the goal of a self-reliant India given by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
On the occasion of inauguration of this plant in Gandhinagar Additonal Chief Secretary to CM Shri Pankaj Joshi, Honeywell Advanced Materials President Shri Ken West , Navin Fluorine International Chairman Shri Vishad Mafatlal, MD Shri Radhesh Welling, invited guests and industrialists were present.
