Guj CM inaugurates ‘Samruddhi 2023’ Trade Fair of Maheshwari Sangini Sangathan at Ahmedabad

    An exhibition of artistic objects from Gujarat and other states is scheduled for August 12-13

    Gandhinagar, August 12: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the ‘Samriddhi Trade Fair 2023’ of Maheshwari Seva Samiti. The Chief Minister addressed the people present on the occasion and said, “The most popular leader in the world and our triumphant Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has started a new chapter of women empowerment by the slogan of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.” He has given importance to the contribution of women in the development of the state and the nation. The ‘Samriddhi Trade Fair 2023’ organized by the Maheshwari Samaj to further the Prime Minister’s idea is commendable.”

    He added that with Sauno Sath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas, Sauno Prayas, PM Shri Narendra Modi has placed India on the world map which shines like the pole star in the sky.

    The exhibition has been organized for August 12-13 at Maheshwari Samaj Bhavan in Shahibag, Ahmedabad. In an exhibition organized by Maheshwari Sangini, the women’s wing of Maheshwari Samaj, artistic items made by artisans from Gujarat and other states have been put up for sale.

    The CM praised the initiative of Maheshwari Samaj and said, “It is our responsibility as a government to indiscriminately encourage the good works of every society.” He applauded Maheshwari Samaj’s charitable generosity.

    The CM said that due to the programs like ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, the feeling of patriotism is seen among the people. PM Shri Narendra Modi has always tried to uplift the marginalized people. As a result, quality facilities like roads, water, electricity, health, and education have reached remote villages. He continued, “Today, women from tribal areas are also becoming doctors and pilots.”

    In regards to awareness of organ donation, the CM said that the circumstance of losing a relative is sensitive. Many people can get a new life through organ donation if the relatives of the deceased are explained.

    Shri Vineet Mishra, Head of Kidney Department of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, also took the pledge of organ donation among the people present in today’s event.

    On the inauguration event of ‘Samriddhi Trade Fair 2023’, MLA Smt. Darshna Vaghela, the local councillor, along with several leaders of Maheshwari Samaj were present.
