Gandhinagar, Monday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel while launching new projects at Rajasthan Hospital in Ahmedabad said that this health oriented digital initiative of Rajasthan Hospital will help improving the health of the citizens. This new O.P.D. facility, innovative approach to child and maternal health services will prove effective in providing best health facilities to newborns and pregnant women, he added.
The Chief Minister further said that various healthcare initiatives have been undertaken by the state government for the elderly citizens. A new initiative has been undertaken where sample collection facility to citizens above 60 years of age is provided at the doorstep of home. Rs. 5 crore has been allocated in this year’s budget for starting of this initiative.
Chief Minister said that as a result of collective efforts of social, religious and charitable and voluntary organizations with the government, holistic and inclusive development can be done by speeding up the pace of development of the state, of which Rajasthan Hospital is an excellent example.
The Government of Gujarat, to fulfill Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Digital India vision, has digitized many civic services. Following this process, Rajasthan Hospital has also adopted the digitalization approach to strengthen citizen services.
The Corona Vaccination Campaign was conducted throughout the country by making the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s mantra of Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas, Sauno Prayas worthwhile, as a result of which today we have become safe against Corona, the Chief Minister added. He congratulated the trustee families of Rajasthan Hospital, who came from Rajasthan and settled in Gujarat four decades ago, for continuing the service of the patients.
Cabinet Minister Shri Pradip Parmar said that the state government is determined to provide the best health services to everyone in the state. He congratulated the entire hospital system for its innovative approach, stating that the Rajasthan Hospital has been providing excellent healthcare services to the patients hailing from different provinces of the country and the patients of the state.
Former Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja, reminded all of the public services rendered and the important role played by Rajasthan Hospital along with Ahmedabad Civil in supportive care at the time of 2008 serial blasts.
Chief minister and other dignitaries presented a health kit to the Anganwadi sisters in this program.
Councilors of Asarwa Ward, Chairman of the Hospital Shri P.R. Kakadia, Secretary Shri Mahendra Shah and a large number of social leaders and doctors were present.
