Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel while laying foundation stone and inaugurating various developmental projects in Thasra and Galteshwar taluka said that, Digital India is meant to reach every village.
Under the Digital India campaign, free Wi-Fi facility will be provided in 4000 villages of the state for which a provision has been made in this year’s budget of the state.
Gujarat has taken the lead in realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream of Digital India.He added.
We are moving along the journey of Gujarat’s development started by the then Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, keeping the common man at the centre.
Since last eight years Gujarat has been benefiting from the double engine government. As a result of which Gujarat is galloping at a double speed, the Chief Minister said.
Chief Minister further added saying that On the auspicious occasion of Samvatsari and Ganesh Chaturthi, the development yajna has started today in Kheda district. As one always remembers Lord Ganesha for good deeds, today on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, various public development works have been launched in Kheda district.
He said that the government is making sincere efforts so that the benefits of the scheme reaches to the last man in the cue. The government has provided many primary and infrastructural facilities including roads, electricity, water to the remote areas.
Stating that development has reached every taluka and remote village, the Chief Minister said,Two decades ago, due to lack of basic facilities like roads, electricity, water in the state, industries did not reach the taluka-village level and development of industries was obstructed. This government has sorted out the issue by connecting missing links.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel further added saying that Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi the people of the nation battled hard against COVID-19. The nation came out of the pandemic because of timely vaccination. Government also made sure that no person would sleep hungry, Moreover government was by the side of the people who had lost their jobs during pandemic.
He added that The state of Gujarat has given the biggest budget after the COVID-19 pandemic. According to NITI Aayog, Gujarat ranks first in financial management across the country and is advancing at a rapid pace.
Union Minister of State for Communications Shri Devusinh Chauhan said that,Today a golden sun has risen on the land of Kheda. Foundation stone as well as inauguration of more than Rs. 100 crore developmental works has been carried out today in the district. Due to the maturity of the people of Gujarat along with the commitment of the government towards development, various development works are taking place in Gujarat today.
Minister of Rural Development and Rural Housing Shri Arjunsinh Chauhan said that, With the mantra of “Sauna Saath, Sauna Vikas”, the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has shown Gujarat a new direction of development. Successful implementation of public welfare schemes in the state has spread its benefits to the people.
On this occasion Chief Minister virtually laid foundation stone as well as inaugurated 72 developmental works worth Rs. 62.82 crore in Thasra and Galteshwar taluka.
In this program cheques and assistance were distributed by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel to the beneficiaries of various schemes of central and state government which includes NRLM Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana -Gramin, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Matrushakti Yojana, Ambedkar Awas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
On this occasion, Panchayat State Minister Shri Brijesh Merja, Panchamahal MP Shri Ratansinh Rathod, MLA Shri Kanti Parmar, Collector Shri KL Bachani, President of Thasra Taluka Panchayat Shri Kanji Parmar, President of Galteshwar Taluka Panchayat Smt Namrata Patel, Chairman of Amul Dairy Shri Ramsinh Parmar and a large number of citizens including the beneficiaries of various schemes of the state government were present.
