Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani congratulated the Madhpar (Kutch)
Jain Samaj and young tailor masters for stitching and distributing free-of-cost one lakh masks
daily in collaboration with the help of administration as their silent contribution to combat and
contain novel coronavirus COVID-19.
Talking to the rural youth through videoconferencing from here, he described the service of the
corona warriors in this hour of crisis as divine. He said that mask is a vital protection gear
against the spread of the virus via droplets while coughing, sneezing, exhaling and even while
Mr. Rupani urged the young brigade to themselves observe and spread the message of social
distancing to the careless and callous citizens during lockdown to wear mask and wash hands
with soap after touching contaminated object or surface. He likened violation of social distancing
as murder or suicide. He said this war against corona is likely to continue long.
