    Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel gave Rs. 143 crore gift of various development works on Parashuram Jayanti and clearly stated that the modern development of towns and metropolises has been shown by all the towns of Gujarat.

    In this context, the Chief Minister said that earlier, towns and metropolises were known as city reform. Urban amenities were defined as taps, sewers and roads. He added that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi has made such a city a thriving center with many service activities of town welfare and public interest works as Nagar Seva Sadan.

    The Chief Minister said that with the participation of people in private societies, works including paving blocks and roads are now being done. He said that with the guidance and inspiration of the Prime Minister, we have made a solid plan so that there would be no problem of money in urban amenities along with carrying out town welfare works. He also gave details of various development works done and ongoing in this Lok Sabha constituency of Home Minister Shri Amit Bhai Shah including his Ghatlodia Assembly constituency.

    The Chief Minister further said that Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi has taken a resolution to have a roof over everyone’s head by thinking of even the last man.

    Today, with the guidance and inspiration of the Prime Minister, the government has completed 5,88,000 houses in Gujarat and is still working on more houses.

    On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed nutritious kits to two children and two women were given widow assistance certificates under Gangaswarupa Arthik Sahay Yojna.

    On this occasion, Shri Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, Minister of State for Cottage and Industry, said that Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat is taking forward the uninterrupted journey of development going on in the whole country. He said that it is a matter of pride for us that various development works are being inaugurated by the Chief Minister, furthering the tradition of development politics. He added that the state government is moving forward with the resolution that not a single citizen of Gujarat should live in a house with a roof.

    On this occasion, the Mayor of the city Shri Kiritbhai Parmar said that the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is also taking the development story of the Central Government and the State Government step by step. It is a matter of pride for us that in the post-Corona period, more than Rs. 3000 crore developmental works have been undertaken by the Ahmedabad municipal corporation.

At the same time, an estimated Rs.8.83 crore worth Draw of 70 houses at a cost of Rs.128.02 crore worth drawl of 1120 houses was done.

    Mr. Lochan Shehra, Municipal Commissioner, Mr. Hiteshbhai Barot, Chairman, Standing Committee,  Gitaben Patel, Deputy Mayor and various office bearers of the Corporation, including the Corporators were present on the occasion.
