Guj CM Vijay Rupani today flagged off the Forth Vadodara Marathon in Vadodara

Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani flagged off the 4 th Vadodara Marathon. During his address, he said, “The Vadodara Marathon has now become a symbol of social awareness and commitment.” He congratulated the organizers to set the themes relating to Swatchh Bharat, Beti Bachao, Pani Bachao, Beti Pathao etc.

A large number of people including children, women, youth, elders, and workers joined the Vadodara Marathon Mr. Rupani said that, this occasion has become an occasion of unity for the people of Vadodara. Mr. Rupani said that Vadodara has inspired other cities to organize Marathons. This Marathon has inspired youths, Divyangs and elders for active participation.

Gujarat Assembly Speaker Mr. Rajendra Trivedi, Minister of State for sports Mr. Ishwarsinh Patel, Minister for Narmada Development Mr. Yogesh Patel, MLA’s and dignitaries of Municipal Corporation joined the CM.
Expressing the sentiment that Vadodara Marathon has become a brand for health awareness, Minister of State for Sports Mr. Ishwarsinh Patel said, “In addition to the various states of the country, runners from 11 countries of the world joined in the race, which testifies to the world the reputation of this marathon.”

Olympic para-athlete Padma Shri Deepa Malik was honored by the Chief Minister on this
occasion.
