“Educational fairs should guide youth chose right career, convert challenges into opportunities later in life,” says Vijay Rupani
Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani inaugurated a three-day Education Expo-2018 organised by the Thanganat Cultural Foundation at Gandhinagar.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that such events should prove a boon for post-HSC students build their career, inform and guide Gujarat’s youth about world-class courses, career-oriented education at one place, convert challenges into opportunities, and help them rub shoulders with their peers.
He said that Gujarat’s youth are known for their entrepreneurial skill, as the state government has started several organizations like Startup Mission and iCreate to make them job-givers, and not job-seekers.
Mr. Rupani said it was due to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s vision when he was Gujarat’s Chief Minister that 57 universities have been set up in the state, including specialized ones in marine, forensic science, petroleum and raksha shakti which train youth to take up varied job to build a New India.
Those present on the occasion included Chief Secretary Dr. J.N. Singh, Foundation’s Founding Chairman Bhikhubhai, Mr. Rohit Nayani, exhibitors and students.
