Chief Minister welcomes the union budget 2023-24: Thanks Prime Minister & congratulates Finance Minister

    Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel lauded the Union Budget 2023-24 presented by the Union Finance Minister Shri Nirmala Sitharaman saying it as the roadmap of India’s Amrit Kaal 2047 under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He hailed this budget as an all-inclusive and comprehensive budget prepared keeping in mind the interests of the poor, deprived, needy, exploited and middle class families of the country.

    CM welcomed the announcements made for farmers especially small marginal farmers, cooperatives as well as women, senior citizens in the Union Budget and expressed his gratitude. The 66 percent increase in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will complement the Prime Minister’s commitment for housing to all to realize the dream of housing for millions of people of the country.

    The initiative for business growth at IFSCA in Gift City as well as the pioneering effort to boost lab-grown diamond production will benefit Gujarat’s trade, industry and commerce. Along with giving income tax relief to the middle class families, prioritizing seven aspects, ‘Saptarishi’ this budget will take India’s development to new heights under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

    Chief Minister watched the live telecast of the Union Budget along with Finance Minister Shri. Kanubhai Desai, Chief Secretary Shri. Rajkumar, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri. Kailashnathan, Chief Advisor Shri Dr. Adhia along with Shri Rathore and Senior Secretaries of Chief Minister’s Office.
