Gujarat CM attends functions of BAPS Swaminarayan temple at Gadhada

Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today attended three holy programs Vishvashanti Mahayagya, Pranpratishtha Mahotsav of Abhishek Murtis and Gadhpur Jota “Shriji Sambhre” show at BAPS temple in Gadhada of Botad district. CM Shri Rupani said that the historical town Gadhada has a stock of memories of the great lord Swaminarayan. He announced that these year till the end of monsoon the Ghela River of the town will be filled with the waters of river Narmada.

CM Shri Rupani said that State Government has made proper planning to deliver Narmada Water to Saurashtra. The SAUNI Yojana prepared at the cost of Rs. 5000 Crore and will transform Saurashtra and yet in the upcoming time the tender procedure has been taken in hand for work of Rs. 6000 Crore. He also added that works of riverfront will be conducted and Ghela River will receive the waters of river Narmada. As a result, the pilgrimage will become a centre of attraction for tourists. He added that divine blessings could only be received where there is honesty.

He added that the temple is built only with the honesty and integrity of the saints and monks of BAPS. He added that these show will make the name of Gadhada famous in spiritual world. CM Shri Rupani showed his devotion and worshiped at Swaninarayan temple of Gadhada. With specific representations the memories of lord Swaminarayan is being made alive.

On the occasion, Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, BJP State President Shri Jitubhai Vaghani and P. Brahmvihari Swami gave occasional speeches. State Minister Shri Aatmaram Parmar, Mahant Swami Maharaj, Dr. Kothari Swami, Dr. Bhagwat Swami, Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami, saints-monks-leaders-followers-devotees and local people from the town were remained present.
