Gujarat CM attends State-level Cooperative Convention at Trimandir in Ahmedabad

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today inaugurated and addressed a state level co-operative convention- 2017 in a grand convention organized by Gujarat Rajya Sahkari Sangh in the premises of Tri-Mandir of Ahmedabad and called upon to provide significance to co-operative sectors for social change. In Gujarat with the efficiency and with the strength of nearly one and a half million members from more than 74 Thousand co-operative societies we need to cross a new height of development.

CM Shri Rupani said that Amul brand in milk production and its products, Bardoli sugar in sugar co-operative movement, IFFCO in agriculture fertilizer sector takes a lead to create 100% open defecation free Clean India as a demand for today. He said that poor, farmers, rural peoples are the only support to the co-operative activities. Showing his faith he said, for the overall upliftment of them Government will work to realize “inclusive growth with collective efforts”. He urged co-operative banks and co-operative organizations to be fully equipped for digital economy to accelerate cashless economy.

On the pattern of GNFC Township, 180 townships to be made cashless as well as all 200 A.P.M.C farmer co-operative organizations to adjust with global market to be covered respectively in E-Nam Yojana, said Shri Rupani.

Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister launched a new website of association and a telephone directory of the members from state a remembrance of the Co-operative association.

CM Shri Rupani also worshiped with his full faith and devotion at Trimandir of Adalaj. He had a discussion with saint Deepakbhai, disciple of Pujya Dadabhagwan.

On the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Shri Purushottambhai Rupala, Minister of State for Co-operation Shri Ishwarsinh Patel, Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Shri Narhari Amin, Shri Chandrapalsinh from National Co-operative Union, Former Minister Shri Dilipbhai Sanghani, chairman of 20 issue implementation committee Shri Kaushikbhai Patel, leaders of different co-operative associations and others leaders connected with co-operative sectors were remained present.
