Construction of 75 Amrit Sarovar in every district of the state is going on in full swing: CM

Gandhinagar, Sunday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel dedicated the Narayan Sarovar in Chansad which is the famous place of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The great work of strengthening the three pillars of Indian culture – Sant, Shastra and Temple has been done by the of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Heeding the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of the construction of 75 Amrit Sarovar in every district of the state is going on in full swing CM said that Rs. 1454 crore has been allocated in the budget this year for the development of lakes and water-supply works under Amrit 2.0. Requesting to use water sparingly and store it, Mr. Patel said that Lord Mahavir has also advised to use water like ghee.
The Narayan Sarovar constructed with the joint collaboration of Gujarat Tourism Corporation Ltd and BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha at Chansad in Vadodara district has been kept open by CM with a religious ceremony in the presence of senior saints of the Swaminarayan sect.
He felt blessed and fortunate to inaugurate the newly constructed Narayan Sarovar at the birthplace of Prakham Swami Maharaj. He said that the redevelopment of this lake, which has childhood memories of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, has been done with the cooperation of State Government Tourism Corporation and BAPS organization.
Stating Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a visionary leader, the Chief Minister added that before any problem arises under his leadership, a roadmap to get out of it is prepared. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the citizens are getting the benefits of the double engine government in Gujarat. Purified drinking water is being delivered to every household under Nal Se Jal Yojana.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government will work continuously for the development of Gujarat. Appreciating the social service works of the BAPS organization, CM said that this organization, along with the state government, has done a lot of public service work for the people even during the Corona period.
Tourism Minister Shri Mulubhai Bera said that Narayan Sarovar is a center of faith. Lakhs of tourists will benefit from the beautification of Narayan Lake in Chansad. Paying tributes to Pramukh Swami Maharaj, he added that Swamiji started a unique chain of services for world peace.
MP Mr. Narharibhai Amin said that Narayan Sarovar has been constructed at a total cost of 27 crores, including a grant of 10 crores from the state government’s tourism department and 17 crores from the institute.
Brahmavihari Swami of BAPS organization said that Narayana Sarovar the famous place of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, will be the focal point of world peace. He gave the details of the development story of Narayan Lake and expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of the Tourism Department of the State Government.
On the occasion Chief Whip Shri Balakrishna Shukla, District Panchayat President Shri. Ashokbhai Patel, Mayor Mr. Nilesh Rathore, MLA’s, District BJP President, office bearers, international coordinator of BAPS organization, saints, devotes and villagers were present.
