Gujarat CM Inaugurates Dialysis Center Set-up by Lions Club at Ognaj near Ahmedabad

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today inaugurated the Kidney Dialysis Centre set-up with the collaboration of Lions Club and State Bank of India at Ognaj near Ahmedabad. He said that a common man receives expensive treatments easily and at nominal rates for the cure from serious diseases of Kidney, Eye, Liver is the work of divine. He expressed hope that the centre is offering dialysis service at very affordable rates which would certainly be a great relief for the patients suffering from such diseases.

CM Shri Rupani said that the true direction of being happy is not by money but is in making others happy. He briefed people about functions of welfare works by State Governments. He expressed his feelings that expensive medicines will be made available at affordable price from Generic Medical (Jan Aushadhi) Store, MAA card holders will get cashless treatments and to provide super specialty health services in the remote areas.

State Bank of India has given a donation of worth Rs. 98 Lakh for 10 modern Dialysis machines for this Lions Kidney Dialysis centre. MoU have been signed to receive cooperation from SBI, where such kind of Dialysis centre starts. Blood bank and modern treatment will be available to poor and middle class people at affordable rates in such hospitals operated by Lions Club.

CM Shri Rupani greeted the donor who donate Rs. 2 crore 22 lakh for Dialysis centre and CMG of SBI Shri Sanjiv Nautiyal. On the occasion FICCI President and Chairman of Zydus Cadila Shri Pankaj Patel was honored with Humanitarian award. Vice President of Lions International Shri Naresh Agrawal gave occasional speech.

On the occasion First international Vice President of Lions Club Shri Naresh Agrawal, Shri Yogesh Dave, Shri Pravin Chajed, President of FICCI Shri Pankaj Patel, leading members of Lions Club, Donors and invitees were remained present.
