Gujarat CM inaugurates the first ever Scientific Expo in Mehsana

    Importance of local products including agriculture, science in Garvi Gujarat-2022 exhibition

    CM expresses his desire to make the youth self-reliant through startups


    Gandhinagar, Friday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurating Scientific Expo organized from 08th July to 10th July at Mehsana said that for the first time such a scientific expo has been organized in North Gujarat and congratulated the youth-entrepreneurs for organizing such an important expo.

    Gujarat is the growth engine of development and that is why it has topped the recently released Ease of Doing Business and topped the state startup rankings for the third time in a row.

    Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed his determination to take the nation towards a five million dollar economy through Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. For which the special contribution of science, youth and startups is important, which is supported by such exhibitions.

    The country has built a strong startup ecosystem with passionate leadership. The country has become a world leader with more than 72,000 startups and more than 100 Unicorn start-ups. Gujarat has achieved success for the third year in a row in the startup rankings. With 1156 patents and copyrights as well as 2154 student startups from 2017 till date, Gujarat has led in a self-reliant India.

    Student Startup Policy 2.0 has been launched for Innovation Research and Entrepreneur. Gujarat has expressed its determination to make the youth self-reliant through start-ups. Chief Minister appealed the citizens to visit Digital India Week.

    The CM added that startups, e-governance and electronic manufacturing are the dimensions of Digital India. Gujarat is the best state for investment because along with the policies here, we have adopted a three-pronged approach to health, education and security. There is good health infrastructure so that people get good health, services. Primary to higher technical education is also available. The third and most important thing is security. Industry and trade can be flourished if there is peace and security. Our government is working towards strengthening all the three pillars.

    Union Animal Husbandry Minister Shri Parshottam Rupala said that Mehsana district is at the forefront in the field of industry, education and politics. The scientific Expo in Mehsana district with all its uniqueness will give enthusiasm and inspiration to the youth. The exhibition organised in Mehsana will showcase sophisticated products ranging from natural farming.

    Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi has created a revolution by vaccinating animals at a cost of Rs 13,000 crore across the nation. It is necessary for the new generation to adopt the business of animal husbandry with new technology and cooperate in state and nation building, added Union Minister.
