On the occasion of 67th birthday of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani considered the declaration program of the lift irrigation and potable water worth Rs. 4800 crore here in Limkheda of Dahod as the new sunrise for the progress of the tribals. He expressed his rejoice for the unique celebration of 67th birthday of the Prime Minister of India in the Vanbandhu region of the state. He showed happiness while PM Mr. Modi expressed his commitment to provide good governance and facilities to 125 crore citizens of India.
CM Mr. Rupani expressed his commitment to allocate Rs. 60,000 crore in nearer future for infrastructural facilities for comprehensive development in Vanbandhu-tribal areas. He briefed about the initiation begun by the then Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to provide surface water through water pipeline and said that today more than 70% people getting water at their door-step. Villages of as many as 75 lakh people of hilly tribal regions were provided water with mini pipelines at their door-step. As a result to decisions made by the government to provide assistance for the treatment of sickle cell anemia and teachers in Ashram schools and dining facilities in dry hostels the Vanbandhu became more prosper as a part of development.
He called on to connect the tribal villages with world through internet facilities. He expressed his commitment to extend new projects of modern development to the tribal people at their door-step.
CM Mr. Rupani also heartily thanked PM Mr. Narendrabhai Modi for giving LED street lights as a gift to municipalities of Gujarat. In this regard he said that PM Mr. Modi has given LED tube lights as the street lights in total 5 municipal corporations such as 3 of Dahod and 2 of Navsari districts. In context to the gift of electricity saving by PM, the state government will give LED street lights in all municipalities of the state within short time, he added. CM Mr. Rupani said that by the usage of such LED bulbs at personal and municipalities, state government will save electricity expenditure worth Rs. 1000 crore and citizens will receive brighter power.
On the occasion, BJP State President Mr. Jitubhai Vaghani, Former Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Mr. Jasvantsinh Bhabhor, Tribal Development Minister Mr. Ganpatbhai Vasava, Water Resources Minister Mr. Babubhai Bokhiriya, Minister of State Mr. Bachubhai Khabad, State Revenue Minister Mr. Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Energy Minister Mr. Chimanbhai Sapariya, Tourism Minister Mr. Jayeshbhai Radadiya, Ministers of State Mr. Jashabhai Barad, Mr. Jaydrathsinh Parmar, Mr. Rajendrabhai Trivedi, Mr. Shabdsharan Tadvi, Parliamentary Secretaries, MPs, MLAs, office-bearers, Chief Secretary Dr. J. N. Singh and Vanbandhus in huge number were remained present.
