Gujarat CM unveiled the statue of Lokmata Shree Ahilyabai Holkar

    Gandhinagar, Sunday:  Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that the unveiling of statue of Lokmata Shree Ahilyabai Holkar in Vatwa area of Ahmedabad is a historic event for all of us. He further added that today’s occasion is realizing the resolution of ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’.

    The party plot in Vatwa ward by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is named as Shree Ahilyabai Holkar Party Plot by CM today.

    Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi had asked to make five resolutions on August 15, in which he also called for preserving our heritage and today’s occasion highlights this.

    The CM expressed his feelings that government has always stood with the people in times of problems and will always stand with the people of the state.

    With the mantra of ‘Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Pyaasa and Sauna Vishwas’, Shri Narendra Modi today has tried to bring the people of every society into the mainstream. Under the guidance of CM Gujarat team is also continuously advancing the development of Gujarat.

    Today, Gujarat is filling the gap of development in every sector. We have been able to lay a strong foundation in education, health and security in 20 years. Based on this result, the drop out ratio of education has reduced from 37 percent to 3 percent.

    Today people of every class and society are contributing to the development of the state and the country. They are taking the country and the state forward. Since Gujarat is a leader in peace and security, investors from nation and abroad are coming to invest in Gujarat and this is a matter of pride for all of us.

    The CM also gave detailed information about various schemes of the Central and State Government.

    Former Minister of State for Home Shri Pradeepsinh Jadeja said that today Lokmata Shree Ahilyabai Holkar is worshiped by people from all society. It is a matter of pride for all of us that the statue of Shree Ahilyabai Holkar is unveiled in Vatva area of Ahmedabad.

    The statue of Shree Ahilyabai Holkar is built on a five feet foundation in an area of 10 by 10. An estimated cost of five lakh rupees has been utilized by the Pal Badhel Samaj Seva Sangh to make this statue.

    Union Minister of State for Law SP Singh Baghel, Mayor of Ahmedabad Shri. Kiritbhai Parmar, Corporator’s  and leaders from Badhel community were present on this occasion.
