Gujarat CM’s decision for maintaining the health and well-being of the citizens of the state

    Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani has taken other important decisions in the wake of prevailing global situation arising out of COVID 19.

    Mr. Rupani said that this virus is transmitted by contacting people affected with it, so it is necessary to stay away from contact of such persons. An important decision has been made in four cities- Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, and Vadodara including Gandhinagar and Kutch will remain close till March 25, 2020.  Those selling essential items and services will remain open in the state.

    Taking one more positive initiative Mr. Rupani announced that Passengers Busses- Taxi and Cab Services will also remain close till March 25th in the State.Privately-owned vehicles, government vehicles, and vehicles associated with essential services and Vehicles associated with corona infection control operations have been exempted from the ban.Point bus service to Government offices(Sachivalaya) will remain continue.

    In cases where Gujarat has a large number of citizens from other states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the prevalence of corona virus is spread by people coming from other states like inter-state bus services, taxi cabs, but they will not be able to enter till 31st March 2020.

    Mr. Rupani also expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming supportshown by the people of the state in Janata Curfew. He added that the Curfew is till 9:00 PM but it is also necessary to remain in home after 9:00 also.
