“Gujarat Govt earmarks Rs.9,700-cr in Budget for Health, mulls special grants to multispecialty hospital run by Trusts,” says Vijay Rupani

    Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani today said that Gujarat Government has earmarked Rs.9,700-crore for the Health Sector in the State Budget.

    He said the government will reimburse the cost of serious operations worth Rs.3-lakh and knee replacement for Rs.40,000 for each knee. He said that extending special grants to multispecialty hospitals run by Trusts is under consideration of the government.

    Mr. Rupani was speaking at a function to dedicate laser and sonography machine and to lay the foundation stone for new ophthalmic ward and staff quarters at the Ramji Charitable Hospital at Gondal in Rajkot district on the occasion of 96th birth anniversary of Haricharandasji Maharaj at Ramji Mandir. He described Haricharandasji as a Pride of Gujarat.

    Haricharandasji Maharaj blessed all. The trustees announced the names of donors for new school building and felicitated the donors.

    Citing the example of Ramji Hospital, Mr. Rupani said that service to the humanity is not affected for want of time or resources or funds.

    The Brahmachauryasi and other religious rituals are on at the temple from March 17 to 31, 2018.
