India’s Ambassador-Designate to the Slovak Republic Smt. Apoorva Shrivastava pays a courtesy visit to Gujarat CM

Gandhinagar 27 July 2023: Smt. Apoorva Shrivastava has been appointed as India’s Ambassador to the Slovak Republic. Before assuming the office, she paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar.

The Chief Minister extended his wishes and urged the Ambassador-Designate to strengthen and foster the bilateral relations and economic ties between the Slovak Republic and India, under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership.

The CM expects cooperation from the Ambassador-Designate for a high-level business delegation from the Slovak Republic to participate in the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2024 to be held in January.

It is to be noted here that Smt. Apoorva Shrivastava served as the Consul-General of India in Toronto since 2019. She has also served the Indian Embassies in Paris and Kathmandu in her diplomatic career spanning over two decades.

Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri K. Kailashnathan, Chief Secretary Shri Raj Kumar, and Additional Chief Secretary of Industries Department Shri S.J Haider were present during the meeting.
