Gujarat CM inaugurates ‘Khadya Khurak-2017’ Exhibition at Ahmedabad

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani inaugurated ‘Khadya Khurak Exhibition-2017’ at Ahmedabad in presence of Health, Family Health-care Minister Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary and Jagannath Temple Mahant Shri Dilipdasji Maharaj. It is worth to mention here that the 14th exhibition of Khadya Khurak has been organized by Khimashiya Associates, Bhavnagar with a theme of ‘Food of India’.

CM Shri Rupani expressed his clear opinion that only Indian ancient traditional processes of catering, cuisines and food verities are the right direction of hygiene and purity against the western food. It is our specialty that the Indian women not only make tasty food but love for family and sweetness have also been involved behind making food for family, he added.

He briefed people about forthcoming Vibrant Global Summit-2017 to be held during January 9 to 13, 2017 and said that various national and international dignitaries and delegations will visit to experience our hospitality.

CM Shri Rupani expressed hope that since Gujarat has become a best destination for investment; Gujarat will not go back in taking leadership into food processing sector. This Khadya Khurak exhibition will bring change in farmers produce, dairy products and delicious food along with hygienic nutrition and make capable for competitive market.

He congratulated for pure vegetarian food systems stalls and said that it is need of hour that youth generation may adhere to vegetarian foods. He also inspired food processing sector of the State to put it at similar place like other industries through value addition.

He also launched Food of India website and released Khadya Khurak-2017 informative book. On this occasion Principal Secretary of Health Department Shri Pankaj Kumar, Food & Drug Commissioner Shri Hemant Koshiya, other dignitaries, exhibitors and leading food manufacturers were also remained present.
