Major investments in industries including semiconductor chip manufacturing in Gujarat will boost employment and supply chain: Jeffery Chun
Mr. Jeffrey Chun, M.D of Simmtech Holdings paid a courtesy visit to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar.
Mr. Jeffrey Chun visited Gandhinagar to participate in the three-day Semicon India-2023, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He expressed gratitude to the Government of India and the State Government for inviting him to the event.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel clearly stated that semiconductors are now a basic necessity for modern industry.
“Under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, India has achieved significant progress in semiconductor manufacturing, and Gujarat is lucky to have initiated this,” he added.
During the conversation, the Chief Minister clearly stated that Gujarat continues to attract industries and investments from around the world due to the state government’s proactive policies, logistics infrastructure, and active support. The government ensures a hassle-free investment process for industries.
Simmtech Holdings Limited has applied for the Indian Government’s scheme to promote the manufacturing of electronic components, including semiconductors, and is eligible for incentives under the Gujarat government’s IT policy which was discussed during the meeting.
Mr. Jeffrey also demonstrated the PCB production in front of Hon’ble CM. Mr. Jeffrey mentioned during the meeting that the success of Semicon India-2023 will lead to global opportunities for the semiconductor industry in Gujarat.
