Teacher’s Day, celebrated on September 5th, honours the birth anniversary of the former President and distinguished teacher, Shri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
It is a tradition on this day to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of respected Gurus by making generous contributions to the Teacher’s Welfare Fund.
In keeping with this tradition, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel contributed to the Teacher’s Welfare Fund for students in Gandhinagar.
On Teacher’s Day, students from Lavarpur Primary School and Shree Ved International School in Gandhinagar received the Chief Minister’s contribution.
District Collector Shri Hitesh Koya, District Development Officer Ms. Surabhi Gautam, District Superintendent of Police Shri Ravi Teja Vasamsetty, District Education Officer Dr. Bharat Prajapati, and teachers joined the Chief Minister for the occasion.
The Chief Minister engaged in a casual conversation with students and enquired about academic and campus facilities.
