PM Shri Narendra Modi e-dedicates PSA oxygen plants for various hospitals of Gujarat

    Gandhinagar, Thursday:  Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel said that under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, India has gained a leading position in the fight against corona as compared to other nations with its vaccinations, oxygen plants and state-of-the-art treatment facilities. The state government under the leadership of the Government of India has also set up a noble health service for the patients during the Covid period.

    On the occasion of inauguration of PSA Oxygen Plant of Bharuch Civil Hospital, CM said that the Prime Minister has so far donated a total of 15 Oxygen Plants from the PM Care Fund for the health and well-being of the citizens of Gujarat. A total of 18 plants have been made available to the State including 3 Oxygen plants found under CSR. These plants will be beneficial for the health facilities of the patients against the possible third wave of corona and even in normal days.

    Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi digitally inaugurated 35 such PSA Oxygen Plants across the country from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Under PM Care Bharuch, Patan, Palanpur, Tharad, Khedbrahma, Bhiloda, Mansa, Vadnagar, Godhra, Santrampur, Garudeshwar, New Civil Hospital-Surat, Schmeier Hospital-Surat, Sola Civil and Gandhidham While the newly established PSA plants at Rajpipla, Zhalod and Morbi by Gujarat CSR Authority have also been dedicated.

    Including an oxygen plant with a capacity of 1.87 metric tons at a cost of Rs. 1.05 crore from the PM Care Fund at Bharuch Civil Hospital. The state level program in this regard was organized by the Department of Health and Family Welfare at Pandit Omkarnath Thakur Hall in Bharuch under the chairmanship of Gujarat Chief Minister.

    Reiterating the commitment of the state government for “Sauna Saththi Sauna Vikas ane Sauna Vishvashni” CM said that the government has set up affordable health facilities for the common man during the Corona period. By arranging reserve beds in private hospitals, thousands of patients were given free Covid-19 treatment which was noted at the national level. Gujarat has set up an example that best health care facilities cannot only be made available in foreign countries.

    Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has completed 20 years of public service and dedication. State government, which is on the path of good governance, aims to give good governance to the people, said CM.

    Mr. Patel said that the government has planned to provide all the facilities including accommodation, meals, health to the beggars in the state so that they can give up begging and the government is making efforts to make them self-reliant through employment. Appropriate arrangements are also being made for stray cows.

    Chief Minister and dignitaries honored the Sarpanchs who have completed 100 percent vaccination in the villages and the Corona Warriors doctors and medical staff who were on toes to serve the corona patients. CM also inaugurated the newly constructed Revenue Staff Quarters at Ankleshwar build at a cost of Rs.9.58 crore. He also visited Bharuch Civil Hospital and inspected the new PSA Oxygen Plant.

    On this occasion, representatives of various social organizations, industries associations of Bharuch district greeted the Chief Minister with a memento.

    In the welcome address, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Manoj Agarwal said that in Bharuch district, 98.39 percent people have been given first dose and 85 percent second dose, while 40 percent people have been fully vaccinated.

    Deputy Chief whip of the Legislative Assembly and MLA Mr. Dushyantbhai Patel, MP Mansukhbhai Vasava, MLA Mr. Ishwarsinh Patel, Arun Singh Rana, District Police Chief Shri Rajendrasinh Chudasama, District Panchayat President Alpaben Patel, Commissioner of Health and Social Welfare Department, Gandhinagar Mr. Jai Prakash Shivahare, Managing Director of GMSCL, District Health Officer President, invited citizens, resident doctors, medical staff were present.
