    Gandhinagar, Monday: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated multiple projects worth around Rs 1450 crore in Gujarat’s Jamnagar.

    On this occasion, Prime Minister said that the double engine government of Bhupendra-Narendra has done development works at an incessant pace for the welfare of farmers along with infrastructural development in Gujarat. Narmada is giving its blessings by reaching every nook and corner of Saurashtra and Sauni Yojana’s fructification speak volumes of Saurashtra’s changed image. He also said that the farmers are getting the full price of their produce today. While receiving the hospitality at Jamnagar-“Choti Kashi”, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi acknowledged the blessings of women received during the road-show and expressed the conviction of enriching the area from Bharuch to Jamnagar

    While addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Shri Modi included information about the eight projects of Jamnagar that were launched today. Recently, Prime Minister Shri Modi had advocated the residents of Jamnagar to visit the Smritivan constructed at Bhujia Dungar, where the residents of Jamnagar who were martyred in the devastating earthquake have been mentioned. On this occasion, Shri Narendra Modi also added that this Smritivan, made at par with other global monuments, is a symbol of self-confidence and hard work of the people of Gujarat.

    Prime Minister Shri Modi expressed his gratitude for Jamsaheb Maharaja Digvijay Singh and paid homage to his kindness during the second world war towards the people of Poland. This created a lasting bond with the people of Poland that helped a great deal during the evacuation of Indians from Ukraine during the ongoing crisis. Somewhere behind the help of the Poland Government, the kindness of Maharaja Digvijay Singh has played a huge role. Prime minister wished for the longevity and good health of present King Shri Shatrushalyaji Maharaj.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi said about the recently repealed over 2,000 laws that the state government committed to the policy of “ease of doing business” has taken this step to help the business world, which will greatly benefit the people of Gujarat. The Prime Minister requested the audience to draw the attention of the government to other such laws which are not relevant to the present times.

    The Prime Minister gave credit to the steady progress of the Indian economy and the country’s workers-traders-farmers for defeating Britain, who enslaved the country for 250 years, from the sixth place in the global economy and bringing India to the fifth place. Recently, through the new industrial policy implemented by the state of Gujarat, new startups and MSMEs in the state. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai also expressed the hope that the sector will benefit on this occasion. He highly appreciated the efforts made by the Chief Minister for the protection of the marine area of ​​Jamnagar rich in biodiversity and for the development of eco-tourism and in this context he applauded the efforts of the Chief Minister for cleaning the illegal constructions on the sea strip.     Prime Minister Shri Modi said that 80 crore people are getting free ration from Corona period through Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana and told this is the fruit of “One Nation One Ration Card”. Stating that 25 years ago in Saurashtra we had to fight for water and today Maa Narmada has blessed Gujarat-Saurashtra and its farmers with prosperity, the Prime Minister said that the double engine government has realized the “Sauni” Yojana”.

    Prime Minister Shri Modi said that Jamnagar’s grandeur and luxury will be taken to a new height through the corridor constructed at a cost of 36 thousand crores, Jamnagar’s trade and business will connect with North India and also said that Jamnagar’s global identity will be strengthened. Stating that Jamnagar has 35 percent share in the country’s oil refinery, the Prime Minister called Jamnagar a fortunate city. The Prime Minister gave encouraging assistance to the small entrepreneurs of Jamnagar, including handicrafts, brass, ties, bangles, chudi, and said that the Gujarat government has implemented a development-oriented industrial policy to move Gujarat in a brighter direction. He congratulated the government.

    Gujarat has set a new example of development in every sector, said the Jamnagar-Rajkot engineering spare parts industries manufacture pins to aircraft spare parts and now eco-tourism will provide new opportunities to entrepreneurs, the Prime Minister happily said. Stating that Ayurveda University is getting a national position along with Global Center for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, the Prime Minister said that the entrepreneurship of Jamnagar will be established in every corner of India, in reference to the developmental policies of the government.

    Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel while describing the development projects of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s “Sankalp thi Siddhi” proudly said that Shri Narendra Modi has changed the image of Saurashtra by laying the foundation of Sauni Yojana. Stating the fruit of Saurashtra’s life-saving “Sauni” Yojana, the Chief Minister further said that due to this painstaking work of conveying Narmada’s flowing water to Saurashtra, Narmada water is coming to 115 reservoirs of Saurashtra and added that Jamnagar district has been given Sauni Yojana Link-3 Package-7 and Link 1- package 5 due to which 141 villages will get drinking water along with benefiting 2 lakh people.

    Expressing the commitment of the Gujarat government, the Chief Minister said that if water and electricity are available, the journey of development will move forward. The Double Engine Government is committed to all-inclusive development under the direction of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Explaining the importance of energy, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that through the tact and unremitting efforts of the visionary Prime Minister as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Gujarat has implemented the Jyotigram scheme and made 24 hours electricity available. Telling about the benefits of setting up a 40 MW solar project at Haripara, Jamnagar, in terms of power supply to the area, he added that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Gujarat is also leading the country in the field of renewable energy and has become No. 1 in the country in solar rooftop.

    Talking about the development works launched by the Prime Minister of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation, he added that the government is taking the opportunity of urbanization to make the cities of the state clean, free from traffic problems and equipped with the best healthcare services to develop them as smart sustainable cities. Talking about the benefits of Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister in moving Gujarat on the path of development, the Chief Minister clearly said that as a result of the double engine government, Gujarat is moving at double speed and scale today and many international level projects are coming up in Gujarat. The Chief Minister emphasized that we are determined to fulfill the dream of building a developed India by building a developed and water-rich Gujarat.

    District In-charge Minister Brijesh Merja in his address spoke in detail about the various development projects to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said about the increase in infrastructure facilities and public welfare from these projects.

    Cabinet Minister for Agriculture Shri Raghavji Patel said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, corruption-free transparent system has been implemented in the country and security of countrymen and country has been given top priority. Talking about the welfare schemes and decisions implemented to double the income of the farmers, he added that the development work done under the guidance of the Prime Minister has made India famous all over the world.

    Today, the Prime Minister handed over Rs. 729.15 crores to provide drinking water to more than 1,20,000 people and provide irrigation facilities to an area of ​​about 71,967 acres, the Sauni Yojana Link-3/Package-7 and Rs. 314.69 Crores to provide drinking water to more than 65,000 people and to provide water for irrigation of around 31, 843 acres area under Link-1/Package-5, Modern Photo Voltaic Solar Project with a capacity of 40 MW Haripar village at Rs. 176.89 Crore and at Patelnagar in Jamnagar Development works including Valmiki Samaj Community Hall were launched at a cost of Rs. 99 lakhs. Apart from this, Rs. 39.24 crore Kalavad Group Augmentation Water Supply Scheme, Rs. 24.74 crore Morbi-Maliya-Jodia Group Augmentation Water Supply Scheme, Lalpur Bypass Over bridge and Hapa Marketing Yard Railway Over bridge to be prepared at a cost of total Rs. 107 crores, Development projects including underground drainage network and pumping machinery refurbish work (4-component) at a cost of Rs. 56 crores for which foundation stone was laid by the Prime Minister.

    At the beginning of the program, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and MP Shri C. R. Patil warmly welcomed the Prime Minister by presenting him with Jamnagar’s world famous bandhani Khes and MP Poonam Madam gave him a warm welcome with a gift of an artistic picchawai depicting 24 decorations of Dwarkadhish and a bandhani khes. On this occasion, the Prime Minister was given a conch shell, gift of a silver sword, wearing a halari turban and warmly greeted in traditional style. The Prime Minister inaugurated and launched development projects worth more than 1448 crores.
