Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel also joins Prime Minister
Gandhinagar, Thursday: While the great festival of devotion and worship of Maa Shakti is going on, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi performed the Maha Aarti of ‘Maa Shakti’ on today’s fourth day of the Vibrant Navratri Mahotsav organized at GMDC ground in Ahmedabad. Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel also joined on this occasion.
The vibrant Navratri festival started by the Prime Minister during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat has given this festival of Gujarat special recognition all over the world.Today, it has established itself as the longest dance festival not only in the country, but in the entire world. Bhavik’s from various Shaktipeeths of the state also joined through live video. On this occasion, dignitaries including Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi witnessed the garba presented by legendary artists.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister was traditionally welcomed by 108 Rishikumars of Sola Bhagwat by chanting Vedic mantras. Shri Yantra of Maa Amba was gifted to the Prime Minister by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.
In today’s Maha Aarti, Minister of State for Tourism Shri Purnesh Modi, Minister of State for Tourism Shir Arvind Raiyani, MP Shri C.R. Patil and Mayor of Ahmedabad Shri Kirit Parmar were present.
