Gandhinagar, Thursday: The Prime Minister said 100% coverage of beneficiaries means delivering to every creed and every section equally with ‘ Sauno saath, Sauno vikas, and Sauno vishvas’ . No one should be left behind from every scheme for the welfare of the poor. This also finishes the politics of appeasement. Saturation means that the benefit reaches the last person in society.
Benefiting from government schemes, meeting all eligible beneficiaries eliminates social discrimination, The Prime Minister added that , Benefiting all the people from the government scheme implemented for the welfare of the people also brings about a psychological change. Benefiting the poorin such manner that they do not have to stand in long lines to avail government schemes. When the government reaches their homes and gives them benefits, the seeds of duty are also planted in them. The political aspect also comes to an end and even the last person in the society realizes that the government is with them. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed ‘Utkarsh Samaroh’ in Bharuch, Gujarat today via video conferencing. The programme marks the celebration of 100% saturation of four key schemes of the state government in the district, which will help provide timely financial assistance to those in need. Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel distributed various benefits to a total of 15 thousand beneficiaries of such schemes at Bharuch. The Prime Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of the scheme.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that, availing the benefit of government scheme gives the poor confidence And strength to cope during adversity. Until now, it used to happen that people were deprived of the benefits of a scheme due to lack of knowledge and the scheme appeared like it was just on the paper. Our government, with clear intentions, clear determination and good work, is committed to bring the benefits of the scheme to one hundred per cent people with the support of all, development and trust of all.
He further added that, last eight years of the government have been dedicated to service, good governance and welfare of the poor. The government is committed to ensure that no beneficiary eligible for poor welfare schemes is left deprived. Achieving one hundred percent target in any scheme is not just a figure. The Prime Minister said that our government is moving forward with new resolutions, new energy with addition to eight years of good governance experience. Before 2014, half of the country’s population did not have access to adequate toilet, vaccination, electricity, banking, etc. facilities.
Through our joint efforts, we have been able to bring many schemes for the welfare of the poor closer to one hundred percent completion. Free health care to 50 crore population of the country under, Ayushman Bharat. Giving insurance cover of Rs 4 lakh pension, electricity and water connection under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Suraksha Yojna has given a new impetus to the lives of the poor. As we are celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav providing basic facilities and schemes to the citizens of the country is a great means of social justice. He lauded the Gujarat government for working diligently under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel to achieve its commitment for the overall welfare of the poor by giving dignity to the poor.
He added that for the first time in the country, 90 per cent small and marginal farmers are being provided loan assistance under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanmannidhi Yojana, credit cards for fishermen and PM Swanidhi Yojana for street hawkers. This is making this class of people financially capable.
Reminiscing his memoirs with Bharuch, the Prime Minister said, “Once upon a time in Bharuch, if you take a row on the road, things would fall out of it.” Today, Bharuch has become a district of dreams and aspirations of the youth. With the construction of the Statue of Unity, Bharuch and Rajpipla districts have become a global identity. Along with industrial development, freight corridors, bullet trains, expressways will be of great benefit to Bharuch. Bharuch district can make a significant contribution to the blue economy. The Bhaadbhut barrage scheme will benefit Bharuch.
The Prime Minister said that the Utkarsh ceremony is truly an excellent ceremony. This ceremony has proved to the Gujarat government and Bharuch district administration what meaningful results can be obtained if the government reaches out to the beneficiaries with an honest resolve.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel said that by following in the footsteps of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi, Antyodaya has flourished in Gujarat. Gujarat has strengthened the direction of good governance by keeping the common man, the poor and the deprived at the center in public welfare and public welfare schemes to make the deprived classes self-reliant.
He added that Bharuch has guided the country with the initiative to give the benefits of the scheme to the weak, the poor, Ganga Swarupa baheno, the destitute, the deprived.
Shri Patel said that Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi in his address to the nation from the Red Fort had called upon all the last men to extend the benefits of the government scheme. The Bharuch district administration has heeded the call and found the beneficiaries from all corners of the district in just three months and delivered the planned benefits.
He also said that the government under the leadership of Shri Narendrabhai has taken care of people from all walks of life. Bank account from Jandhan, gas connection from Ujjawala, exemption of women from smoke, electricity through Ujala, Rs. 5 lakh cashless health care, free food to the poor during Corona and free vaccinations to all and planned assistance and benefits to widows, destitute and handicapped.
Chief Minister Shri Patel said that by increasing the financial assistance given to women in the form of Ganga Swarupa to Rs. 1250. Not only that, in the scheme, if the beneficiary’s son is 21 years old then she would not get any help. However, the government has removed that barrier. As a result, the number of beneficiaries was 3.70 lakh, which has increased to 11.36 lakh. So far, Rs. 1530.76 crore has been disbursed under this scheme.
The state government has become a support to elders and disabled, giving its role, the Chief Minister said that 130 lakh old people and the disabled will be given Rs. 103 crore pension assistance, 8.90 lakh families have been given houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Jandhan accounts of more than 1.68 crore people have been opened in the state. In which Savings of Rs 7400 crore have been deposited. Finding a single citizen is a government benefit. This indicates that a holistic, inclusive ecosystem has emerged in Gujarat under the direction of the Prime Minister.
1.47 crore beneficiaries in the state through poor welfare fairs have been given Rs.26676 crore assistance directly, he added.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has adopted a humane approach and carried out the duty of public welfare, development, trust and effort of the Prime Minister. Mr. Patel said that in order to embody the Prime Minister’s idea of Digital India, it is necessary to use technology in the working of the government. Bharuch District has dedicated e-integration and visitor management system to the people towards the construction of Digital India, which will be a commendable approach in solving the problems of the people’s representatives and citizens. This approach is inspiring to others.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel distributed chickpeas, mugs and milk to 5400 malnourished children of the district through Bharuch Dudhdhara Dairy.
Minister in charge Shri Purneshbhai Modi said that the ‘Rajya praja ne sukhe sukhi ane paraja na dukhe dukhi’. Good governance has been initiated by this government. The work of fulfilling the hopes and expectations of the citizens is being done by the then Chief Minister and the present Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi. Prime Minister Shri and Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel are working towards making the lives of the exploited, victims, poor and illiterate of the society nectarine by implementing various schemes.
Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Pradeepbhai Parmar said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi, the country is moving from Antyodaya to Sarvodaya worrying about the last person. He has united the country in the true sense by abolishing Article 370 from Kashmir. Public belief and sentiment have been honored by constructing a temple on Ramjanma Bhoomi.
The Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Manisha Vakil said that Government plans are made. But it is very important that its benefits reach its beneficiaries. This work has been done in Bharuch which is noteworthy.
Deputy Chief Dandak Shri Dushyantbhai Patel said that the district administration has done a great job in providing benefits to 13 thousand beneficiaries under the Utkarsh initiative by the administration which is commendable. Welcoming all, Collector Shri Tushar Sumera said that Bharuch district has realized the concept of Sarvodaya through Antyodaya through the upliftment of the poor in this Yajna of social upliftment. On this occasion, MP Shri C. R. Patil, District Panchayat President Mrs. Alpaben Patel, MLAs Mr. Ishwar Singh Patel, Mr. Arun Singh Rana, Chief Secretary Mr. Pankaj Kumar, office bearers, officials and a large number of beneficiaries including citizens were present.
