@ Sainik School at Boriavi in Mehsana district run by Dudhsagar Dairy which will be constructed on 11 acres of land at an estimated cost of Rs 75 crore

Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Union home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah virtually laid foundation stone for country’s first Sainik School run by a cooperative organization at Boriavi in Mehsana district.

This Sainik School will be constructed to mark the birth centenary celebrations of Shri Moti Chaudhary, the pioneer of Dudhsagar Dairy, a prestigious milk cooperative organization of North Gujarat.

Based on P.P.P. model ,This Sainik School which will be the 20th Sainik School which will be functional in the country and the first in the country to be constructed by a cooperative organization.

Union Home Minister clearly states that, Such a school will inculcate the values of defence, bravery, patriotism and national service along with knowledge in the lives of children and instill new zeal and new consciousness.

During the 9 years of good governance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, cooperatives-NGOs- individuals have all contributed towards the development of the country.

Based on P.P.P. model 100 more Sainik schools will be established. The laying of foundation stone of 20th Sainik school and first Sainik school run by Cooperative organization is a moment of proud for Gujarat.

Remembering Shri Moti Chaudhary the pioneer of Dudhsagar Dairy Union Home Minister said that he was a prime example of what an ideal activist in social life should be. He gave an example of how public relations should be developed and maintained with simplicity.

Shri Moti Chaudhary has done inspiring work for the interests of pastoralists including fighting during the crisis, rapid development of the cooperative sector. Moreover he truly lived up to the name Dudhsagar by serving continuously for 30 years. Shri Moti along with Tribhuvandas Patel started a big yajna of milk production in the three districts of Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Mehsana, which was also recalled by the Union Home Minister.

He also credited Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the development that has taken place starting from the water revolution to development revolution.
The Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation said that the book ‘Shabd Moti’ has also been released today, which will prove helpful in understanding the life of Shri Moti. He said that the life of Shri Moti has always been a source of inspiration for the youth and adolescents. He said that Mehsana Dairy is moving forward with great enthusiasm and it has become the source of livelihood of about 5 lakh farmers. He also conveyed his best wishes for the continuous development of Dudhsagar Dairy.

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel in his address said that World renowned leader and the Prime Minister of our country Shri Narendra Modi has created a new history of development politics in the country. His aim is to prepare a generation equipped for national service by considering national interest and national defence at the top.

The Prime Minister has decided to start 100 Sainik Schools in the country to inculcate in children the feeling of patriotism and make them dedicated towards the nation.

Chief Minister added that, Gujarat is moving forward under the guidance of the Prime Minister of the country and the Minister of Cooperation of the country with the goal of a unique system of cooperation with defence. He added that, It has been the determination of the Prime Minister that if the efforts of the society are combined with the efforts of the government, the speed of development is doubled.

Under the guidance of Union Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah, there has been a 360 degree change in the cooperation sector. Conscious efforts are being made to increase the growth of milk by five times by joining 2 lakh rural dairies in the development journey of the country.

Chief Minister said, The co-operative sector is at the core in the nation today. India has emerged as the best model of economic prosperity in the world due to the development of people involved in the cooperative sector from various cooperative societies. He added, Today India’s borders have remained intact thanks to the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister.

Country’s first Sainik school run by a cooperative organization will be the first school from Gujarat to the nation. Initially Sainik schools have been started in Kherwa, Radhanpur, Kherancha and Umarpada of Surat under the inspiration of the Prime Minister. The government is planning to start 10 more Raksha Shakti schools in the state.

Chief Minister added that, Children from state granted Schools and Tribal Division Schools are provided free education by the government if they get admission in Sainik School Balachadi.

He added, The Prime Minister has given a big gift to the girls of the country during this Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by giving admission to Sainik School, Due to which they have become “Afsar Bitiya” today.

The Chief Minister added that, Under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the country and the Home Minister of the country, the supreme value of knowing how to live for the country in the direction of good governance has awakened in the nation.

On this occasion, Health Minister Shri Rushikesh Patel said,It is a matter of pride for Mehsana that Sainik School is being constructed in Mehsana. Magnificent building, magnificent facilities will produce magnificent students and through it the national spirit will be strengthened.

The Health Minister added, New opportunities have been created for the youth through the start up in the country, Make in India. Today equipments pertaining to defence are made in India through Make in India and today India has become an exporter of defence equipments. Today, the borders of the country are safe because of the Home Minister of the country.

On this occasion, Industries Minister Shri Balwant Singh Rajput said, It was the dream of the Prime Minister of the country that there should be more than 100 military schools in the country under which this second military school is going to be constructed in Gujarat which is worth appreciating. Prosperity through animal husbandry and now prosperity through education has become popular.

On this occasion Shri Ashok Chaudhary, Chairman of Dudh Sagar Dairy said, Today is a historic day for Dudhsagar Dairy. This Sainik School will produce disciplined and cultured students who will move ahead and contribute towards building nation. Along with animal husbandry, Dudhsagar Dairy has now started buying natural farm produce like desi gram, wheat, millet etc. Also farmers are now moving towards natural farming.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister was welcomed and felicitated by the cooperative organizations. Apart from this, the book “Shabd Moti” was also released.
On the occasion of Sagar Sainik School, Cooperation Minister Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma, Member of Parliament Smt Sharda Patel, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jugalji Lokhandwala, Patan MP Shri Bharatsinh Dabhi, Dsitrict Panchayat President Shri Prahlad Parmar, MLA’s Shri Kirit Patel, Shri Mukesh Patel, Shri Sardar Chaudhary, District Superintendent of Police Shri Achal Tyagi, Colonel of Sainik School, people of Boriavi Village, Cooperative Leaders and citizens were present for the occasion.
