Seventh phase of Seva Setu will be held from Friday 22nd October to 5th January 2022

    56 different services to be provided in 2500 Seva Setu program in urban-rural area every Friday-Saturday for two days from 9 am to 5 pm

    Gandhinagar, Tuesday:  Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel has decided to organize the Seventh phase of the state-wide Seva Setu program to ease and accelerate the process of resolving public queries.

    2500 Seva Setu programs will be held in the state from 22nd October-2021 to 5th January-2022. As per this decision of the Chief Minister, Seva Setu will be organized for two days every week i.e. Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. 56 services from 13 different departments of the state government will be provided.

    A camp between 6 to 8 villages at the village level as well 4 to 10 Seva Setu program in Municipal Corporation areas, while by preparing a unit between 4 to 5 wards in municipal areas 2 to 3 Seva Setu program will be organized in all municipalities.

    State Government will make arrangements at the venue so that necessary facilities like notary, Xerox, computers, printers, photography can easily be made available. Not only that, separate suitable arrangements will be ensured for senior citizens and divyang applicants.

    CM has considered efficiency, sensitivity and accountability in the administration as the core of the government. He has also repeatedly stated in his public programs that it is the government’s priority to ensure that ordinary people get the least troubles and get benefits easily.

    Chief Minister has decided to start this seventh phase of Seva Setu with a public interest approach. So far, 6 successful phases of Sevasetu have been completed in the state and various services have been provided to 2.30 crore people.
