Gandhinagar, Monday: The Governor of Gujarat Shri Acharya Devvrat administered the oath to Shri Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the second time.
In this swearing-in ceremony held in the presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to 8 cabinet level ministers and 2 state level ministers with independent charge and 6 ministers as state level ministers.
Shri Kanu Desai, Shri Rushikesh Patel, Shri Raghavji Patel, Shri Balvantsinh Rajput, Shri Kunvarji Bavaliya, Shri Mulu Bera, Shri Kuber Dindor and Smt. Bhanu Babariya took oath of office and secrecy as Cabinet Ministers before the Governor.
While Shri Harsh Sanghavi (Independent Charge), Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma (Independent Charge) as well as Shri Purushottam Solanki, Shri Bachubhai Khabad, Shri Mukesh Patel, Shri Praful Panseriya, Shri Bhikhusinh Parmar and Shri Kunvarji Halpati took oath as Ministers of the State level.
National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Shri J.P. Nadda attended this ceremony. Union Council of Ministers Shri Amit Shah, Shri Rajnath Singh, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Shri Pashupati Kumar Paras, Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Shri Bhupendra Yadav, Shri Parshottam Rupala, Shri Mahendra Nath Pandey, Shri Faggan Singh Kulsate, Smt. Darshana Jardosh, Shri Devusinh Chauhan, Dr. Mahendra Munjapara, Shri Ramdas Athawale, Smt. Anupriya Patel etc. were also present.

In today’s swearing-in ceremony, former Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri B.S. Yediyurappa, ministers from other BJP-ruled states include Shri Keshab Mahanta of Assam, Shri B.C. Nagesh, Shri Byrati Basavaraj were also present.

The Chief Minister and Ministers met Saints-Mahants and received their blessings. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also paid a courtesy visit to Saints-Mahantas and other dignitaries at the place of swearing-in ceremony. At the end, he also congratulated the newly appointed ministers.
Supporters and activists attended this swearing-in ceremony held at the helipad ground of Secretariat complex in large numbers. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi received a warm welcome with the cheers of Bharat Mataki Jai.
