The Chief Minister interacts with the tribal women of Danta Taluka
Gandhinagar, 10 February 2024: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel paid his respects to Ma Amba and prayed for the prosperity of Gujarat. Subsequently, the CM inaugurated Shri Shakti Nari Sashakti Kendra operated by Shri Shakti Seva Kendra. During his visit, the CM met with trainees involved in pottery, sewing, incense making, and khadi production at the centre. Additionally, the Chief Minister interacted with trainees, particularly tribal women from Danta Taluka and nearby rural regions.
The Chief Minister also guided women, emphasizing the importance of Atmanirbharta and leveraging government assistance schemes for economic empowerment. Additionally, the CM highlighted the significance of educating daughters. It's noteworthy that adhering to the principle of "Transforming lives, not just places", over 200 women empowerment centres near Panchha, Kumbharia, and Ambaji are providing training in various skills, while men are being employed at Shree Shakti Seva Kendra.
During the inauguration of this centre, certificates were presented to the women trainees by the Chief Minister. Present at the event were Shri Varunkumar Baranwal, Chairman of Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust and District Collector of Banaskantha, Smt. Ushaben Agarwal, Chairperson of Shri Shakti Seva Kendra Ambaji, along with other leaders of the organization and a large number of villagers.
