Gandhinagar, Friday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has said that, The state government is working under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and keeping them together by understanding the sentiments and demands of the various sections of Gujarat. Basic facilities like roads, energy, water,education-health have become all-pervasive in Gujarat because of which Gujarat is now moving forward to achieve new milestones of development, he further added.
The leaders of Mali Samaj greeted the Chief Minister in Sneh Milan organized by Mali Samaj in Gandhinagar.
On this occasion Chief Minister further said that, Today’s youth are unaware of the situation of Gujarat what it was two and a half decade ago. People had to struggle even for basic facilities like roads, water and electricity.
He further said that a massive transformation has taken place since Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took over the leadership of Gujarat. Gujarat began to move at a rapid pace on the path of development. Today the scenario is such that, tap water is provided to 98% of rural households by government in Gujarat. The waters of Maa Narmada are flowing upto each and every village of Kutch. Having surpassed the height of 200 floors, water has been made available to the hinterland of the tribal areas.
Chief Minister said, Currently some people are ignoring the fact about development of Gujarat. They are making false promises to people. For more than two decades BJP government has been making the people of Gujarat taste the sweet fruits of good governance and development.This government is shouldering the responsibility of delivering the promises it made to the people.
Chief Minister further added that. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the state government has shown firm determination and given the right pace to the development of Gujarat.
In this regard, the Chief Minister elaborated on the specific performance and achievements of the state government regarding the Solar Policy, Solar Rooftop Scheme,Electric Vehicle Policy, Vaccination Campaign to combat COVID-19 pandemic etc.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister applauded the people of the Mali community for showing awareness towards education and especially for girls’ education and said that, Jyotiba Phule is the torch-bearer for overall development of female. Taking inspiration from Jyotiba Phule’s life and teachings, the Gujarat government has also undertaken many successful initiatives – projects and schemes for girl child education.
The Chief Minister further said that following the mantra of Sauna Saath, Sauna Vikas, the state government has prepared a 20-year development journey roadmap of Gujarat. As a result of the co-operation and blessings of the entire society of Gujarat, nobody can be a obstacle to this development journey of ours.
On this occasion leading personalities of Mali Samaj Shri Kanaiyalal Mali, Shri Ghanshyam Mali, Smt Dipti Amarkotia and former President of Bakshi Panch Morcha Shri Bhagwandas Panchal were present.
