An approach for speedy grievance redressal through technology under ‘Swagat Online Jan Fariyad Nivaran’ a total of 2073 grievances were redressed in the month of August
Gandhinagar, Thursday: In the state-level SWAGAT online program held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, 7 questions of the citizens of 6 districts were solved promptly. SWAGAT online program has played a key role in listening to the public’s queries and resolving them through technology.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel instructed the officials of various district administrations who connected in this program via video conference that the effectiveness of this program is to solve the problems of the people and get their amicable solution in the shortest possible time and in the case of such complaints to be resolved at the local level through fast action with decisiveness. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi begun this State Wide Attention on Grievances through Application of Technology ‘Swagat’ to solve the problems of the citizens of the state using the technology during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Since then state level SWAGAT program is held in Gandhinagar on the fourth Thursday of every month in the presence of the Chief Minister. The SWAGAT online program held on August 25, 2022, Thursday addressed the grievances of the citizens of Porbandar, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Sabarkantha, Kheda, Vadodara and other districts. In the month of August-2022 District-Taluka-Village and State SWAGAT has brought 2,073 satisfactory results out of total 2,835 submissions. After the SWAGAT program, the Chief Minister interacted with the district officials and gathered about the Lumpy Virus situation in the districts and made necessary suggestions.
Pankaj Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister and Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of the concerned departments were present in this state level SWAGAT program.
