Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel attended the 8th All Community marriage Ceremony organised by Mahendrabhai Jashbhai Inamdar Trust at Savli. He blessed 751 newlywed couples.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that the state government is committed to extend the benefits of schemes for the poor and underprivileged. The state government is working for public welfare based on ‘Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas ane Sauno no prayas’ mantra given by the Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi .
The public representatives of the state have joined hands to fulfil the Prime Minister’s vision. The state government is accelerating towards development.
Community marriage ceremony provides an example of social harmony. Citizens participate in this ceremony without caste discrimination. These community ceremonies solve financial concerns of poor families.
CM said that the state government is providing support through the Saat Fera Samuh Lagna, kuvarbai nu Mameru and Antarjatiya Lagn Yojana. The amount of assistance in inter-caste marriages has been increased by Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh.
Vadodara is also included under State Government’s assistance due to damage to potatoes and onions due to unseasonal rains.
MP Shri C. R. Patil said that the state government is committed for the welfare and protection of women. The government of Shri Bhupendra Patel has ensured the safety of women in the state. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has taken efforts to secure the future of girls through through Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Abhiyan.
Shri Patil emphasised on eliminating gender based discrimination. The newlyweds were made to resolve not to undergo a pregnancy test.
Savli MLA Shri Ketanbhai Inamdar said, “I got an opportunity to serve the citizens on the occasion of my father’s birthday.”The people of Savli have given me so much support, love and blessings. He thanked the citizens of Savli.
