Training officers of National Defense College pays courtesy visit to Gujarat CM

    Gandhinagar, Thursday: 17 officers of National Defense College NDC, New Delhi paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar today. The National Defense College has been functioning as an apex institute for the last 6 decades and has a global reputation for the study of national security and policy making.

    A refresher study course is conducted every year in this college for strategic development and knowledge sharing of officers of all three wings of the Indian Army, civil services and senior officers of 27 countries. During this study, trainees in seven different groups visit different states.

    Accordingly, a group of 17 training officers of NDC headed by Brigadier Pundir is on Gujarat visit till 17th March. Officials from Australia, Thailand, Oman, Nigeria and Mauritius have also participated in this group.

    Chief Minister expressed his clear opinion before this group that the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the basis of which Gujarat has become a role model for the development of the country. Gujarat has benefited the most from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision.

    CM detailed on Good financial management of Gujarat, infrastructure facilities, education, health, water, light, tribal development, medical education to tribal youth as per the parameters of developed nation-states.

    These training officers also had an interesting dialogue with the Chief Minister regarding various aspects of Gujarat’s development vision.

    Chief Minister also said that the state government has prepared a roadmap to increase Gujarat’s contribution of 8.36 percent to the country’s GDP to 10 percent. People’s confidence, trust and commitment to development have increased under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Every citizen has got the chance to come into the mainstream of development.

    The NDC training officers lauded Gujarat’s reputation in the areas of strong coastal security, unity and cooperation, leading entrepreneurship. These training officers are on a tour of Gujarat till March 17, during which they have visited BISAG and Gift City and will also visit Amul Dairy and Statue of Unity.

    Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri. Kailashnathan and Secretary Smt. Avantika Singh joined on the occasion.
