Union Home Minister dedicates and lays foundation stone of developmental works of worth Rs. 307 crore of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation

Efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah lays in the foundation of Gujarat’s development model- CM

Gandhinagar, Saturday: Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah today dedicated and laid foundation stone of developmental works of worth Rs. 307 crore of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Gujarat’s development journey has not stopped or slowed down even during the COVID pandemic. He added that even when developed countries all over the world were facing recession, the development work in Gujarat was moving at a fast pace.

Shri Amita Shah said that since Shri Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, all the Chief Ministers have accelerated the development of Gujarat and Shri Bhupendra Patel is advancing these development works at a planned pace.

Home Minister also took the opportunity to congratulate the representatives of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation for these development works. He dedicated developmental works of Rs. 157crore and laid foundation stones of works of worth Rs. 150 crore.

Shri Shah presented these development projects with the aim of making Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency the best and greenest constituency in the country. He inaugurated a new Water Distribution Center in Naranpura area of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, which will provide clean drinking water to more than 60,000 people of Naranpura and Ghatlodia. He also inaugurated 826 EWS houses at Ghatlodia, Thaltej, Gota and Sola and Hebatpur as well as Bopal Ecology Park at Thaltej and water treatment plant at Kotarpur Water Works.

Shri Shah laid foundation stones of Gajraj Water Distribution in Chandlodia Ward, Vishramnagar Water Distribution in Thaltej, Party Plot at Thaltej Sindhubhavan as well as Aarogya Van around Shilj Lake and water line on the road leading to Visat.

Union Home Minister said that the Central government has provided free foodgrains to more than 60 crore people for two years during COVID Pandemic.

Home Minister, in his address, said that considering the usefulness of vaccines during the Corona period, Shri Narendra Modi was in constant touch with the scientists and developed two indigenous vaccines in India and today more than 130 crore people have been vaccinated in India. Due to this widespread vaccination, we did not face the third wave in India.

Addressing the gathering Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that whenever Home Minister Shri Amita Shah visits Gujarat, he always comes with the gift of development works and planned benefits for the people.

Chief Minister expressed the clear view that Shri Amita Shah has proved to be the development leader of his constituency by taking care of the citizens in all matters ranging from infrastructural facilities to health and housing facilities.

Chief Minister said that in the foundation of Gujarat’s development model lays the hard work and efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. He gave detailed information about the work done in the state of Gujarat under Pradhan Mantri Shaheri Awas Yojana and various provisions of the budget of Gujarat Government for urban development.

Referring to the newly constructed Ecology Park and Aarogy Van in Ghatlodia, the Chief Minister also explained to all the role of the Gujarat government’s ‘Namo Vad Van’ initiative to increase green cover in Gujarat.

Chief Minister expressed his firm determination to make the cities of Gujarat self-reliant in terms of amenities and well-being and to contribute in the construction of ‘Self-reliant Gujarat to Self-reliant India’.

On this occasion, the Mayor of Ahmedabad, Shri Kiritbhai Parmar said that not a single development work has been stopped in the state and in Ahmedabad during the Corona epidemic. Even today, continuous development works are taking place in Ahmedabad. Today, people of Ahmedabad have received development works of worth Rs. 307 crore.

On this occasion, the Ahmedabad Mayor Shri Kiritbhai Parmar, Industries Minister Shri Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Pradipbhai Parmar, Health Minister Shri Hrishikeshbhai Patel, Former Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja, MP Shri Hasmukhbhai Patel, Shri Naraharibhai Amin, BJP General Secretary Shri Pradipsinh Vaghela, Deputy Mayor Shri Gitabahen Patel, Chairman of the Standing Committee Mr. Hiteshbhai Barot, Municipal Commissioner of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Shri Lochan Sahera as well as District Collector Shri Sandeep Sagle and dignitaries were present.
