A high-level Uzbekistan’s delegation led by Mr. S. Gordiv, Head of Department of Administration of The President of Uzbekistan, today held a meeting with Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani in Gandhinagar.
The Uzbek delegation is on a three-day visit to Gujarat to study state’s security subjects such as Forensic Science University, Forensic Science Laboratory, Cyber Crime System, Police Academy at Karai – Gandhinagar, Raksha-shakti University, and Vishwash – Command & Control System.
The delegation is presently on tour of Gujarat in reference to the frame works prepared for agreeing mutual cooperation made between Gujarat and Uzbekistan on the issues like safety and security during Mr. Rupani’s visit to Uzbekistan in October -2019.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed the delegation that Gujarat has attained expertise on the subjects like safety, security and resolving the crimes by setting-up world class Forensic Science University in Gandhinagar. As a result of this, Gujarat has the ‘Highest Crime Detection’ ratio in the country.
The Chief Minister also expressed confidence that the visit of the delegation would prove to be an important step in the direction of enhancing bilateral cooperation on the subject of security between two regions.

Kailashnathan – Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mrs. Sangeeta Singh – Additional Chief Secretary (Home), and DGP Mr. Shivanand Jha, Mr. Chhatrapalsinh Jadeja – Registrar of Forensic Science University, Industry Commissioner Mr. Rahul Gupta, and Mrs. Neelam Rani – Managing Director of iNDEXTb, and others
