Guj CM Vijaybhai Rupani dedicates various development work of Bhavnagar through video conferencing

    Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today e-dedicated and e-launched development projects worth Rs.41.36-crore, including ultra modern Bhavnagar Range IGP office to be built at a cost of Rs.3.90-crore, three police lines, dog kennel, Sanes police station, through videoconferencing from here in presence of Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja and Minister of State for Women and Child Welfare Vibhavariben Dave.

    Speaking on the occasion, he said that law-and-order situation is at the roots of all round development in Gujarat for which he complimented the state police force for zero tolerance and dealing sternly against unsocial elements and goons to establish Gandhi and Sardar’s Gujarat.

    He said that police personnel return home after day’s hard work, protecting the lives and property of citizens, and therefore the government is building houses to make them happy and stress-free.

    Mr. Rupani said that he has e-dedicated or e-launched development works online worth Rs.11,250 crore, not even coronavirus could stop the pace of development.

    Giving details of the different government department’s performance during the pandemic, he said nearly 50 lakh tests have been carried out so far in the state, which is eight percent of the population, the patient recovery rate is 85 per cent and death rate has come down to three per cent.

    Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja said that 40,000 new recruitments during the last three years has increased the size and skill of the police force. The government is providing modern two room kitchen flat to police constable cadre.
