    Gandhinagar, Sunday: Krantikari Pujya Sant Shri Padmabhushan Swami Sachchidanandji Maharaj’s Public Natural Honors and Greetings Program 5th June World Environment Day under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel. A program was organized to distribute blankets to Gangaswarupas and to honor Pujya Swami with Prakriti Award. On this occasion, Shri Hrishikesh Bhai Patel, Minister of State for Health, Shri Rajendrasinh Chavda, MLA of Himmatnagar, Shri Kantibhai Patel, Former MLA, Shri Somabhai Modi, Green Ambassador and Founder of Green Global Brigade, Shri Jitubhai Tirupati and President of Green Global Brigade Shri Nilesh Rajgor, environment lovers as well as dignitiaries were present.

    On this occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel planted trees and addressing the environment lovers said that on World Environment Day we have all come together for the protection of environment. Planting trees is to preserve the environment, to keep nature alive, but we have also experienced how annoying nature can be. Institutions get involved in this tree planting, individuals join youth and through collective effort we have to do long term planning and sustainable development in which the government also has a responsibility.

    The Chief Minister further said that due to global warming the seasons also change but we have visionary leadership. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi has made great efforts for Global Warming and Climate Change, Environment and has started a separate department for Climate Change. At the same time, the Prime Minister has given the message to return to nature. Carbon dioxide emissions have been reduced by selling LED bulbs for natural farming and conservation of the environment. One sun has given the mantra of one world one grid. He has made historic decisions by promoting solar energy and solar energy in which developed countries of the world have also joined this campaign.

    Addressing the youth, the Chief Minister said that if we see deforestation in plants and the spirit of tree Narayan and the suffering of human beings by cutting down trees, then we can preserve the environment and save it. Chemical fertilizers are harmful to human health. If we turn to cow based farming, if human beings are healthy then everything else can be obtained easily. Today, on World Environment Day, we do not limit this work to planting trees. We will plant trees wherever space appears, sheds, roads, river banks or fallow lands throughout the year. The problem of global warming will be solved. He called for planting more trees and rejuvenating the land of Gujarat. Revolutionary Saint Swami Sachchidanand Maharaj, who was present in the program, gave an inspiring discourse on saving the environment and sent blessings.

    On this occasion, Swami Sachchidananda Maharaj was honored with a sandalwood plant and a shawl. The dignitaries were honored by Dr. Jitubhai Patel by the Green Global Team and The booklet “Prerna” written by Dre. Jitubhai was released by the Minister and dignitaries. All the environmentalists decided to plant trees. The brigade donated one rupee and handed over a check of Rs. 1,11000 to Swami Sachchidanand.

    Dr. Jitubhai welcomed everyone and gave suggestions about the outline of the activities and work plan of the organization.

    Former Minister Shri AK Patel, District Collector Shri Hitesh Koya, Environmentalists from all over the state, Gangaswarupas, office bearers and Forest Department personnel were present on this occasion.
