Chairman of Tech Mahindra and Fluor Corporation pays courtesy visit to CM

    Extensive response to the State Government’s ‘Gujarat IT/ITeS Policy 2022-27’ under the leadership of Chief Minister

    Tech Mahindra in association with American Multinational Company Fluor Corporation launched ‘Center of Excellence on Digitalization’ in Ahmedabad

    So far as many as 17 MoUs have been signed to provide 29000 new employment opportunities under IT/ITeS policy

    Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Chairman of Tech Mahindra C. P. Gurnani and Fluor Corporation David E Constable paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel here in Gandhinagar.

    During the visit both Chairman appreciated the Gujarat IT/ITeS Policy (2022-27) of the state government. They detailed on the works carried out after signing MoU with State Government.

    As a result of the success of the State Government’s Gujarat IT/ITeS Policy 2022-27 under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel, Tech Mahindra Company has launched a ‘Center of Excellence on Digitization’ in Ahmedabad on 23 May 2023 in collaboration with the American multinational company Fluor Corporation.

    Appreciating the work of both the companies, the Chief Minister said that this Center of Excellence has been started within 6 months of signing the MoU between the State Government and Tech Mahindra, it shows the commitment of both the companies to make a special contribution to the IT sector of Gujarat.
    The State Government will continue to provide all necessary cooperation under the IT/ITeS Policy to both the companies.

    MD and CEO of Tech Mahindra C. P. Gurnani said, the state’s new IT policy is path breaking. Leading IT companies from home and abroad are looking to start their operations in Gujarat.

    Chairman and CEO of Fluor Corporation David E. Constable, said that there has been full support from the state of Gujarat for the establishment of the Center of Excellence. The new IT policy has created a massive buzz in the IT industry.

    The IT/ ITeS policy is getting a wide response; As many as 17 MoUs have been signed by various companies with the state government so far to provide 29000 new employment opportunities under this policy.

    Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, the Government of Gujarat has launched the ‘Gujarat IT/ITeS Policy’ (2022-27) to realize the Digital India Mission and the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Gujarat to Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
