Chief Minister inaugurates Vanijya Mahavidhyalay Bhavan of RK Desai Group of Colleges at Vapi

    Gandhinagar, Friday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has said that, Along with industry, Vapi has also progressed in the field of education. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and by following his mantra of “Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas,Sauno Vishwas and Sauno Prayas” Gujarat is emerging as developed state. Gujarat has achieved industrial growth as a result of initiatives like Vibrant Global Summit and industry promotion policies by the government.

    Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated Vanijya Mahavidhyalay Bhavan of R.K. Desai Group of Colleges constructed at the cost of Rs. 4.50 crore in Vapi and also addressed the gathering.

    The Chief Minister further said that, Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the first ever budget of India’s Amrit Kaal has been presented. Development of youth power to build New India has been prioritized in this Amrit Budget. The aim of Prime Minister through this budget is to make a developed India, a self-reliant India with the help of youth power by educating and training the youth.

    Chief Minister said, Due to Shri Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, medical colleges have been established in forest areas including Valsad, Dahod, Banaskantha, Rajpipla and Godhra.

    Tribal youth becoming doctors, engineers and pilots. The Prime Minister has implemented a new education policy to transform the entire education system of the country, In which special emphasis has been given on research and innovation along with traditional education. The implementation of Innovation Policy 2.0 has diverted many youths of Gujarat towards innovation and startups.

    The Prime Minister has energized the country with new resolutions in this Amrit festival of Independence. Chief Minister appealed to everyone to realize the aim of an educated India from a developed Gujarat and keep the flame of knowledge always prevalent in Gujarat through educational institutions.

    He congratulated the entire college on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shri Raman Desai and expressed the view that the institution is committed to the upliftment of tribal students.

    State Finance, Energy and Petrochemicals Minister Shri Kanu Desai said that During the tenure of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, there is steady development across the country. The facilities available to the citizens of Vapi have also increased. Decisions for public interest are being taken promptly by the Chief Minister of the state. Vapi is growing due to his adaptability towards positive approach.

    He further said, In Vapi Municipality area Drainage system is being built at a cost of Rs. 30 crore which will solve the problem of water logging. A sub district hospital is being built in Vapi itself next to the Revenue Officer’s office. Under cabling working is going on in Dharampur, Pardi and Umbergaon which will ensure that uninterrupted power supply is available.. A floating jetty is being built in Umarsadi. The Chief Minister is always eager to improve the lives of the common people.

    In this program Das Madhumita, gold medalist in boxing at the university’s youth festival, Bhandari Palak who won gold medal in B.Ed at university level in the year 2022, Ruchi Maitra who won gold medal in B.Ed at university level in the year 2021 and Professor of R.K. Desai College of Education Vapi and internationally renowned in the field of literature. Shri Jayantilal B. Barish was honored with an award. Also Padma Bhushan and chairman of UPL Shri Rajju Shroff was honored by Chief Minister.

    District Panchayat President Alka Shah, MP Dr. K.C.Patel, MLA Ramanlal Patkar, Kaprada MLA Shri Jitu Chaudhary, Valsad MLA Shri Bharat Patel, Dharampur MLA Shri Arvind Patel, State Additional Chief Secretary Shri Pankaj Joshi, District Association President Shri Hemant Kansara, UPL Vice Chairman Chandra Shroff, and Muktidham Charitable Trust chairman Shri LN Garg were present.
