Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel attends 7th Patotsav at Khodaldham

    Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel participated in the 7th Patotsav organized at Khodaldham temple in Kagvad of Jetpur taluka of Rajkot district.

    Calling Khodaldham Trust as a leading center of social harmony Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel expressed his happiness by saying that Khodaldham is the only temple in the world that has the national flag at its entrance. On this occasion, he also expressed the feeling that Khodaldham will always provide inspiration to the world as a center of national interest and social interest.

    He said that Khodaldham Trust makes a significant contribution to the development of the nation-state by combining social power in multiple development works. Addressing the large crowd present on this occasion, the Chief Minister said,

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s values-based politics of development has made an important contribution in making India a world leader. He also added that this has become possible due to the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister.

    Stating that the interest of the farmers of the state is always at the heart of the government, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that the state government is always striving for the upliftment of the farmers. The state government has also implemented various agricultural welfare schemes.

    Referring to the upcoming G-20 summit, the Chief Minister said, A total of 15 G-20 summit events will be held across the state which will take the progress of the state to the global stage.

    On this occasion, the Chief Minister also expressed the hope that Gujarat will be a leading state in the year 2047 when the nation will be celebrating 100th year of independence.
    The Chief Minister congratulated the Khodaldham Trust for organizing the entire program and praised the Khodaldham premises for the 650 idols laid down throughout the premises and the glorious story of the Patidars presented on the Pradakshinapath. In the land of saints-shuras-donors of Saurashtra, there is a continuous flow of donations in every 25 km radius, which Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra proudly mentioned and bowed down to the holy land of Saurashtra.

    Chairman of Khodaldham Trust Shri Naresh Patel welcomed all the dignitaries present and said that Khodaldham is an idea. All those present are expected to do the work of bringing it to the welfare of the nation without limiting it to the temple. Shri Naresh thanked former Chief Minister of Gujarat and Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt Anandi Patel for their support in establishing Khodaldham.

    Khodaldham has become magnificent today with the necessary facilities, this has been possible with the cooperation of the government, for which he also expressed his gratitude to the gentle and firm Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel and also announced to celebrate a grand festival in the year 2027.

    Shri Naresh also announced five different public welfare projects in Gujarat including Saurashtra, North Gujarat, Central Gujarat, South Gujarat, Statue of Unity. Under which facilities of health, education and sports will be built. On the occasion of today’s Patotsav, 41 trustees were newly appointed by Khodaldham Trust, in which. Smt Anar Patel was inducted as a new woman trustee.

    Before coming to the ceremony venue, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel hoisted the flag at the main temple.

    Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel alongwith Shri Raghavji Patel, Chairman of Khodaldham Trust Shri Naresh Patel reachedthe venue of the program in an open jeep. The crowd greeted the Chief Minister.

    After the welcome speech by Trustee Shri Dinesh Kumbhani, dignitaries including the Chief Minister inaugurated the program with the ceremony of lightening of the lamp.

    A short documentary film narrating the story of Khodaldham was presented on this occasion. The organizers and leaders honoured Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel with, image of Mataji, Khes shawl and souvenirs. ll the invitees were warmly welcomed by the organizers. The newly appointed trustees of Khodaldham Trust were welcomed by the organizers by making them wear khes. The sisters of Khodaldham welcomed the Chief Minister with Ganesh Vandana. Trustee Shri Pravin Jasani gave vote of thanks.

    On this occasion, Minister of Water Supply Shri Kunwarjibhai Bavaliya, Minister of Tourism Shir Mulabhai Bera, Minister of Women and Child Development Smt Bhanu Babariya, Minister of State for Education Shri Prafulbhai Panseria, Former Minister Shri Jitu Vaghani, Govind and a large number of people from the Patel community were present.
