Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today categorically stated that the state government would support and encourage the organizations that are working in the fields of education, health and society for the betterment of the society in the state.
Giving live instance of his government’s support to such organizations, the Chief Minister said for ‘The Sardar Dham – Madhya Gujarat’, the government has deducted only 10 % of land area rather than 40 % land deduction as per the rules and norms. This way my government has made contribution worth of Rs. 50-crore towards the project, he added.
The chief minister announced this while launching ‘The Sardar Dham – Madhya Gujarat Project’ to be setup by The Sardar Dham Public Trust at a cost of Rs. 100-Crore under its ‘Mission 2026’ over a land plot of five lakh square meters on the outskirt of Ankhol village near Vadodara. The event was virtually attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitinbhai Patel.
The project would become a centre for educational, social, economical and other activities for the betterment of the society. On the occasion, the Chief Minister had honoured the people who had made donations towards the project.
The Chief Minister lauded the people of Gujarat for their successful war against pandemic of COVID-19. He also pointed out that since imposition of ‘Lockdowns’, this was his first function which he attended personally. He also congratulated the organizers for arranging the function with abiding of all government rules setup for the mass functions, including maintaining social distancing
Mr. Rupani further stated that the ‘The Sardar Dham Institution’ would take inspirations from the life of Sardar Saheb (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel), and would follow his mantra of ‘One Nation, Best Nation’ to build a strong society to build an ideal nation.
Even during the uphill times of Corona pandemic, Gujarat has continued its upward surge of development with launching of developmental projects worth of Rs. 13,000-crore, the Chief Minister said and, recalling the his mantra of ‘Corona will lose, Gujarat will win’ added that the recovery ratio of Corona positive patients has risen to 90 % and over 150,000 patients were sent home after a complete recovery.
He also pointed out that today’s festival day of ‘Dussehra’ is victory of ‘Good over Evil’ and sent his greetings to the people of Gujarat.
Others, who spoke on the occasion, included Mr. Gagjibhai Sutariya – president of ‘The Sardar Dham Institution’. Mr. Sutariya expressed his gratitude toward Chief Minister and Gujarat Government for giving special relief in FSI rules of land deduction to the Sardar Dham Institution.
The event was also attended by Member of Parliament Mrs. Ranjanben Bhatt, MLA Mr. Shaileshbhai, Padma Shri Awardee Mr. Mathurbhai Savani, and Mr. Ramjibhai Italiya, Mr. Natubhai Patel, Mr. Rameshbhai Patel, and Mr. Parulbhai Kakadia, CEO of the institution Mr. H. S. Patel, trustees, and others.
