Gujarat CM inaugurates Vibrant Navratri 2016 in Ahmedabad

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has inaugurated Vibrant Navratri – 2016 in Ahmedabad and he called the festival of navratri as the global brand and identity of Gujarat.

While considering the navratri festival as the victory of truth over evil, CM Shri Rupani said that just before navratri by destructing demons Indian army has introduced this power to the world. Such festivals are the efficient medium to introduce unity of people. Festivals such as Navratri and Uttarayan can become festival to provide employment to the artisans as well, he added.

CM Shri Rupani has lighten the lamp with height of 36 feet and 16 feet diameter with a laser torch. This humane lamp has been nominated for Guiness book of world records.

CM Shri Rupani also unveiled Kabbadi World Cup 2016. During the function captains of 6 teams out of 12 teams were invited on the dais and the CM presented them dandiya pairs as a symbol of Navratri.

On this occasion Tourism Minister Shri Ganpat Vasava, State Assembly Speaker Shri Ramanlal Vora, Deputy CM Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Cabinet Ministers Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary, Shri Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Shri Vallabhbhai Kakadiya, Shri Rajendrabhai Trivedi, Dr. Nirmalaben Wadhwani, Shri Parimal Nathwani from Relaince, MLAs from Ahmedabad, Ambassadors from various countries, office-bearers and senior officials and people of Ahmedabad in huge number were remained present.
