Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani today kicked start ninth edition of Garib Kalyan Mela and said that poverty abolishment has become unique identification of Gujarat. Mr. Rupani today provided Rs. 48.84 crore assistance to more than 24 thousand poor-vanbandhu beneficiaries.
He said that this government will become government of poor, deprived, exploited, Dalits and needy persons and desires to be transparent, corruption free government with abolishing middle men system. He added that we have given transparent, sensitive and clean image ruling that nobody should offer a bribe; nobody should visit often for their work and should not take help of middlemen.
He said that poor, Dalits and Vanbadhus have trust on this Government’s intention and with this Garib Kalyan Mela (Seva Yagna) we have kept their trust intact.
During this programme Forest and Tribal Welfare Minister Shri ShabdaSharan Tadvi, MP Shri Ramisinh Rathva, Shri Mansukhbhai Vasava, Regional leader Shri Bharat Sinh Parmar, MLAs, office bearers, district officials and many Vanbandhus remained present.
