Gandhinagar, Monday:  The Gujarati version of the book ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’ was released today at Gandhinagar by Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel in the presence of Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan.

Being the Prime Minister of our nation Shri Narendra Modi has also emerged as a restorer of Indian culture and a social reformer. Commencing of the construction work of Lord Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath and construction of Mahakal Lok Corridor are worthy examples of his tenure as Prime Minister.  Through this book,Shri Narendra Modi’s  works are being displayed to the nation. No ordinary person can do this kind of service for nation, but only those who have the right values ​​in their mind can do it. Shri Narendra Modji is continuously working to change the direction of India not only now but also for the coming years.

He mentioned the recent remarks by IMF regarding better performance by India when every other country is showing slowdown and said it was made possible due to several people friendly decisions taken by Modi government. “Shri Modi has been only the second leader after Mahatma Gandhi who has known the pulse of our nation while communicating directly with people of the country,” the Minister said.  He said that India is currently playing the role of a global leader under the leadership of Modiji. During COVID-19 pandemic India did a prolific job of public welfare by providing vaccines to over 100 countries, which is the best example of India’s friendship-foreign policy with neighbouring countries.

From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, the Prime Minister’s popularity is steadily increasing. Experiences of good governance of 12 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat and 8 years as Prime Minister are described in this book. In this book, 22 distinguished dignitaries from various sectors of India have presented their opinions about Modiji’s good governance of the last 20 years. Shri Modiji is one such leader who likes to interact with people and thus he did not contest any election before the year 2001 and did not lose any election after the year 2001, which is a measure of his popularity and a successful global leader. To understand the meaning of service and good governance, Minister Shri Rajnath Singh requested everyone to read the book ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has said that this book reveals the successful 20-year political history of Gujarat’s son and global leader Shri Narendra Modi, which includes value of service, good governance and dedication. He added that Prime Minister has been able to fulfill the faith and dreams of the people of nation which is why the expectations towards him has increased.

He further said, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s political and foreign policy as well as his visionary decisions have resulted in the rise of India’s name globally. As a result of which India’s prosperous economy has recently been praised by the global organization IMF. Apart from this, India has become the fifth largest economy in the world, leaving behind the UK, thanks to the good governance of Prime Minister Shri Modiji.

It is a matter of pride for all of us that Article 370 has been removed from Kashmir under the leadership of the Prime Minister, foundation stone for Ram Mandir has been laid and thus a magnificent temple will be built in future.

Chief Minister  added that, The fact that Gujarat is proving to be a role model for the entire country has become possible only as a result of the visionary leadership and effective implementation of the then Chief Minister and  current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. On this occasion Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan elaborated on the various chapters of the book ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’.

On the occasion Gujarat Assembly Speaker Dr. Nima Acharya, State Cabinet Ministers Shri Jitu Vaghani, Shri Kanu Desai, MPs, Chief Secretary Shri Pankaj Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Smt Avantika Singh Aulakh, Editors of reputed media houses – Representatives and a large number of book lovers participated, including representatives of Navbharat Sahitya, the publisher of the book ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’.
