State Government gives principle approval to provide land for ultra mega power plant of 4000 mw at Chikhali Kob village of Una
On behalf of the state government, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today gave principle approval to provide land for establishment of second ultra mega power plant of 4000 mega watt in Chikhali Kob village situated in Una taluka of Gir-Somnath district.
As a result, possibility of huge employment opportunities in the remotest area of Una taluka will be created in the ultra mega power plant. MLAs and MPs have expressed their views about possibilities to develop ancillary industries along with facilities of road and transportation and infrastructural facilities will get momentum.
As a result to the positive approach from the state government, now on standardized processes by Central Electric Authority (CEA) of the union government to establish ultra mega power plant at Chikhali Kob village will be undertaken. And process to invite bids and other ancillary issues will be undertaken soon.
